Martin, did you talk with anyone about the Yeti?

Sounds like it's a coin flip if he's working when you're
there or not. You, apparently got lucky!

Thanks!

Still a park in a mess. Idol being pushed down guests throats to no avail.

I agree about that. They changed out Beauty and the Beast on the main entrance sign and put Idol in place of that; put audition signs at the front of the park and moved the AI audition entrance near Sounds Dangerous.

Well, think about it. The attraction doesn't work unless people audition
for it, and that sometimes requires "a little push". Then, the shows
don't work unless people are there to cheer and vote.

Beauty and the Beast goes on either way, and the performers get paid
either way.

Plus, people actually want to see and plan for a Beauty and the Beast
performance. . . .

1) This makes me so happy. Glad to hear that it's still in terrific shape. Name has been giving them problems ever since he came back after the refurb last year. Also glad to hear your skips were good! Who did you have, if you don't mind me asking?

And yes...refurb.:D

2) JS's mouth movement is always hit or miss.
You should have been there when he was first debuted. They turned down the lighting on the treasure scene because they couldn't get the audio to sync up!

"Hmmmm, I can't seem to get the mouth movements right."
"Oh well, just make it darker and no one will know!"

Yea, I was there right after it opened and noticed that.

But when he is working, you'd think Johnny Depp was actually in the ride.

The front of the park maps also have very prominent text "Ask about auditions today!" Ugh...

And it was great to get a chance to meet you in person, Martin. Glad to hear you had a good trip!

Hey everyone;

HRRR lines were around the 1 hour mark all day. If it had been lower we would have reridden. They wern`t, so we left. The rest of the park had 15-20 mostly, with Jaws around 25. Nicely busy.

Rob; nice to meet you two too. Far too fast as always.

Here is the SM car on the lift that Epcotrob got with his cellphone on Sep 30th:

HRRR was an excellent use of the Singles Line when I went on Monday the 28th. Entered the park a little before 9:30, and went right for it. Had perhaps a 5 minute wait each time.

By the time I circled back around later in the afternoon, the Singles Line was much longer, but still only about 20-25 minutes. (The entire final platform section of the Singles queue was full)

I don't know if it's SOP in their grouper position, but each time I was there, if they only had the last row of the train left to fill and the next Standby party had more than 2 people, they would fill the last row with 2 singles rather than check the Standby line looking for a party of 2... This happened with different groupers.

STELLAR report, Martin! :D It’s amazing to see all the details and tech in WDW assessed by you!:D

Interesting stuff on SSE. You think that work is commencing now that the Fiscal Year has begun? I remember someone on here (you?) said that, in addition to a few other things I have heard.

Glad you had fun! Pics? :D

Reading one of your reports makes me understand the expression "he's forgot more than I'll ever know." Thanks for all the detailed observations.

Pretty cool about all the added area musit on TTA. At least that was a definite positive for me on that one.

Innoventions and spine; new floors completed in breezeways. East fully opened week before last, west had its walls switch sides last week. Can verify the floor is now non slip! West clutter removal makes it look so much better. Especially at night. Canopies should be next all being well. Kuka Arm visible in East for SOAT. Looks neat. Storm Force neat and a true addition to Innoventions. Fountain has a few misaligned jets, no big deal, and one air jet is missing (south east corner). Some airjet lights are out on north side but LED lighting is stunning. Fountain shows ran as per the clock all the time, as did the chimes. A good refurb. Non stage railings looking good and complete, LED lighting under top most rail half installed but not yet in use. SSE logos a nice detail.
If and when the tarps come down will you be doing a third part of your Communicore to Innoventions Tribute?
