I found a HUGE bargain that I could not turn down - flights and hotel in Kissimme for two weeks - £350. (Got it via the teletext website)

My annual pass is still valid, so I won't have to pay to get into the parks. :sohappy:

LOL - yep; lots of recording going go. Jedi will be handling the DivX captures while I will be focusing on SVCD ready files. I am focusing on 5 of the specials today; the other ones are already available on #Disney-Central

As of this minute, I have recorded 4 of the 5. Then begins the process of editing, converting, and posting. My guess it will take us a couple days to get it all done. My captures will appear of course on #Disney-Central but also on alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.

I will post in this thread as items are uploaded.

Cause you don't have Dish Network. In my area cable is ridiculously priced ($60 for my minimal channels.. digital is required now) where as Dish Network is all free equipment and as low as $32/month. I pay $45 and have something like 130 channels. I've been a loyal customer for something like 7 years. I only have cable internet and refuse to add their sloppy digital TV here.

Anyhow Ultimate is on the burner right now encoding away on my PC. My upload speed is ridiculously capped low, so it'll take me around 7 hours to upload to the irc channel. I'll post when it is all uploaded. I'll put it in a place where the other servers in the channel have priority access, so more copies can be shared right away.

Is there any way to get some segments on this site for those of us who cant download IRC onto our work computers!!! My IT staff takes a pretty dim view of that for some reason, cant imagine why!!!!:lol: :lol: ;)
And as far as the home computer I am still on dial up.....enough said?? Belle

Unfortunately we cannot put vids right on websites because we tried that a couple years ago. So many people downloaded the vids that the bandwidth useage was overwhelming. Bandwidth costs money (unfortunately). On irc many people can share their bandwidth and the downloading is much more moderated and controlled, so it doesn't get out of hand like it once had. A few heavy downloaders can bring the server down to a crawl, so no one would be able to get anything. IRC definitely helps control that.

So does the IT staff at your work know that you are using company resources for Disney media? :)
