Mansion's Hidden Mickey Gone; Splash Mountain Update

I really don't see why the Hidden Mickey is a big deal. A lot of the public obviously know about it already and it's something fun to look for and point out. It's not like it is anything offensive or something someone would complain about. It is a completely harmless little detail that I'm sure half of the average tourists just overlook.

Would you want to see your signature all over the place when you know you didn't sign it?

The Hidden Mickey is like the Imagineer's signature.

the imagineers are very decisive on some things.. this includes placement of props!

Yet, as someone else mentioned, they now have a pin for the unofficial plate mickey in the HM. It just leads me to believe that it is an official, unofficial hidden mickey now.

The real Hidden Mickey on the Haunted Mansion is in the graveyard scene, made by the shadow in the Grim Reaper's sleave.

And in the attic by the pots and pans across from the bride.

thats actually really funny to hear about this because the last time i went in 05 during my trip it was not there and i remember it being there from before but it actually never crossed my mind again till this thread lol:ROFLOL: good to hear its back... for now..

At DL last month, there was kind of one on the table setting in the middle place setting. The saucers did not touch the plate, but it was symmetrical and the only place setting like this. Long live hidden Mickeys.

I forgot to look for the MH hidden Mickey in Jan- darn it!

The offical Hidden Mickey the ghost in the coffin seemed to me for some reason easier in my last trip to see than in the past.

The unoffical hidden Mickey the plates in the ball room still was there.

In the last scene you used to have to peek around the "Doom Buggy" on the right side in the last scene and look back but this time I could almost see the hidden Mickey by just looking over my right shoulder as I passed it.
