I think bad rainstorms in the past few months slowed things down a lot. What'd you see speck?

I saw a big empty building, a bunch of strutural steel, and not a lot of progress being made.....
I think an October opening is the earliest possible....if the work pace speeds up a lot.
It makes me wonder if either the old building had issues, or they are having design problems or changes

We've heard from a source close to Pleasure Island that a large portion of the building is being constructed in Ireland and will be assembled very quickly when it arrives here.
Not sure how accurate the info is, but it would explain why there doesn't seem to be much "construction" after all the "destruction"

That would be very interesting....although it would surprise me...
WDI is a master at faking authenticity.......so having the costs associated with actually making something authentic would seem a bit strange to me.
BTW...Scott was great on stage last night :lol:

Not sure why Mannequins changed the age limit on thoes nights...you think its because thoes nights are slower for them? Anyhow, can't wait to be there..dancing my buns off!

Im turning 18 in the beginign of august. Im not much of a club goer though. but thats a reason to go onto wdw property.

I heard of the new 18 rule.. in fact had a chance to go one night... decided not to.. (better having a club look crowded and not be as profitable than have an empty club and loose even more money....)

Not as profitable? I remember a thread last year, when WDW was having a special promotion where buying Coca-Cola was really cheap (cheap by theme park standards, anyway). One forum member wrote that Coca Cola practically writes off the cola they sell to WDW for the free advertising.
Not saying that is true, but if it is, every time a young 'un gets thirsty and buys a soda, it's still a mammoth proft margin. Definitely more of a profit than having nobody in the club to buy anything at all.
