making out on rides

Personally I could not care less what other people do as long as it does not effect my enjoyment. Be discreet and keep it away from the kids. Wouldn't really bother me if I happened to see all that much but would be annoyed if my daughter had to see this. Just my opinion.

First Kiss

My first kiss with then girlfriend and now wife was on Haunted Mansion in March of 03. Kissed just after the ghosts in the doombuggy with us and started going up to the end.

This has gone from a really disgusting thread to one that is quite hilarious. I don't know if I should be reading this here at work, but it put a smile on my face! I am innocent of all things people have said. Maybe an innocent kiss, but that's it. If the story about a buzzer going off is true, that's classic. I don't know why anyone would do something like that when cameras are all over. I guess people are going to do what they want to do, no matter who's watching them.

Yes Scottie.. our sweet little kiss on Peter Pan! I couldn't imagine doing anything like these people are saying with the chance of getting caught or having little kids see... i was nervous enough about kissing hehe  :slurp:

I'd rather have people making out on rides and such than to see them gropping at each other in the park.....LOL

I SOOOO second that!! The other day I swear these kids were gunna do it right in the middle of World Showcase!

Me myself, I've kissed on a few rides, other than that no, however, one night i was tired, and so I layed down, and it must have looked bad, cuz when we asked to go around again she goes "you know, we have cameras and saw everything you were doing, don't make me have to get security" I was like, WOAH, i think I may have kissed him, a peck mind you. That was about it...weird stuff.

Pucker up pal

I've never done that either. Kind of hard to when you travel with family members to WDW.

Let me add that to my list of things to do:

#498 - Find suckface partner before 12/31/04 and head to the mousehouse

I see nothing wrong with kissing on rides...I mean pecks because there are kids around. I think this because when I was younger, my parents took me and my friends to Disneyland. My friends and I went our separate ways from my parents. Later on that day we decided to ride The People Mover. In the middle of the ride, we noticed a couple a few cars down making out big time. Then I noticed it was my parents  . Believe me I was mortified.

my only defense is that i was a teenager and that it was gradnight. :fork: i've been pretty innocent since then (well, at least on the rides). :goodnevil

well, from personal experience (and i'm NOT advocating this). Almost 15 years ago, i went to grad night with my then girlfriend. Yes, we were teenagers and yes we were especially hormonal. Well, we made out all over the park (i think that was the last time i rode 20,000 Leagues...but i digress.) Anyway, we fooled around on the peoplemover and stuff. Then we went to the haunted mansion. We were in the doombuggie (the whole ride is dark and i really wasn't paying attention so i don't remember exactly where this happened) but we were kissing and i, well...grabbed "something" on her (above the waist) and a LOUD buzzer went off and it startled us out of our embrace. :lookaroun Well, not to have my hormones stopped for what i considered to be a coincidence, i went for it again and sure enough, the buzzer went off again... :lookaroun
now maybe it was two coincidences but it seemed like someone was telling us to cut it out (there was some exposure of skin involved so maybe it was illegal?) So we just went through the rest of the house, exited and found another place to continue...so yeah, i think people are always watching. :lookaroun

LOL...I'm sorry but that is Hilarious

Gives a whole new meaning to "Grabb'n a Turkey Leg on Splash Mountain" doesn't it?

Is that why some people call it "Flash Mountain?" There is even a web site. :lookaroun

To be truly mortified would imply a certain level of rigimortous, which would draw us right back to the issue at hand (ooh, poor use of words there).

*thread drift*

Back in highschool football, one of our coaches always told us that "If something pops up in the middle of the night, to put ice on it". Now being adolescents, we made real hay with that one. Of course, he was talking about injuries and such suffered during practice that may swell overnight.

*back to the thread*

So AVOID Rigimortous at all times while riding rides at WDW. . .

That's twice on this thread you have made me laugh out loud. Now my boss is going to wonder what in the accounting world is so funny.

From what I know, Spaceship Earth and Haunted Mansion.

NO WONDER why you like those omnimover attractions so much!!!

Horizons: Pick where you want to make out!
World of Motion: Motion in your seats!
Imagination: RAWR!
Living with the Hand...er...Freudian banana peel...LAND!

Grizz...this is shedding a whole new light

(Oh...and Grizz...I resemble that last remark you made about people not responding!)
