Me too, this year will be the first year that we have decorated since we moved to FL for both of the last Christmases we were moving. MJ doesn't really *get* Christmas, but she wants to see Santa and she wants me to put up the tree now. She never gonna let us take it down, sigh. I love Christmas/Hanukkah I decorate the day after Thanksgiving. Right now she really, really wants to go trick or treating, lol.

LOL our tree is up and decorated the week before Thanksgiving every year b/c when our family comes to town we go ahead and celebrate Christmas on the Saturday night after thansgiving... it's a HUGE party and i LOVE LOVE LOVE this part of the holidays

LOL i love real trees... but down here all we have are the ugly short needle fir trees - not the pretty pines of the north... i miss our live trees. But... I burn yankee candles "christmas wreath" scent all season long and it almost smells as good.. lol

We'll be getting an artificial one here too, I'm allergic to pine, sigh. Candles only for me. We keep our tree up till the Superbowl, although this year it may stay up till it's time to decorate for MJ's birthday.
