Had a great day - gorgeous weather!
Iplanted some bulbs today and DH reseeded the lawn so we might fir into the neighborhood next year!

I used to blant blubs but I went to gardina bushes instead. All I have to do is leave those alone and they will grow. Almost anything else that is green I kill. I don't have a green thumb.:cry:

usually the squirels dig up my bulbs, but I planted quite a few (about 150) so hopefully some of them will come up!

How do you make yours? My mom made some yrs ago and she can't remember how she did it.:lol:
here's my recipe - it's so easy, and they're soooo good!

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 egg white, lightly beaten
* 1 tablespoon water
* 3 cups pecan halves
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. (ACTUALLY USE 300)
2. In a small bowl beat the egg white with the water. Stir in the pecans, mixing until well moistened.
3. In a small bowl, mix together sugar, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Sprinkle over the moistened nuts. Spread nuts on prepared pan.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice. Be careful not to overcook and burn the pecans.
