Whoa! Now that's a house!
The Widener Family, of course. . .
Their grandson, Fitz Dixon, who was a former Chairman of the Board of Widener University and well-known in the Philadlephia area, passed away just last month.
You gonna bid on the house, Betty?![]()
I think I'll wait 'til the after-Christmas sale....:lookaroun
I was thinking of George when the news station did a report on this last night. I've been at that mansion - it's phenominal, as are all of them! Just can't imagine how it used to be there in the summers....
Maybe if we pooled our money....Thanks for sharing. I'll have to show George!

sorry...I was delayed...I'm working...so I"m busy as a bee.Hi Nibbs!
Back again - finished working on the cake, but it didn't come out as well as I had hoped that it would...![]()
I hollowed out the top tube a little and filled it with mousse, which made it start to split. I ended up "frosting" the entire thing with mousse to hide the cracks....Don't worry about it Betty!
Some of the best tasting cakes I've made didn't look so good!
