Sounds like a fun thing to do.I can...
I got to thinking the other day about how I need to scrapbook the rest of my first trip to Disney and then my second trip this past January (I still haven't gotten around to it!) But I've been putting it off because it takes up so much freaking time. Then I thought about the way we do our wedding albums now and how much they look like scrapbooks. That's when it hit me! I could scrapbook my Disney trip like that!
Then it hit me...if it turned out well...and if I could find a book (like an actual book to put it in...something that would look good on a coffee table or the likes) that I could actually market this. Scrapbooking made easy. People would send me the pics and then I could scrapbook them using the computer program that we use for weddings, and then get them put in a book and it would be a wonderful keepsake.
Andrew has been in the Travel industry for 8 years and has completed the Disney College of Knowledge if you'd like to talk ot him I can arrange that
.
How diverse. :lookarounI guess I never told y'all what i used to do....
hhaahaha... I worked as a travel agent for almost 3 years before I went independant. I've been Disney College of Knowledge Certified for almost 5 years now... LOL I just didn't even think of going back when i started looking around... i have no idea why... I Love arranging vacations, i was a Disney, Las Vegas, and Asia Secialist. LOL... the only problem is the money stinks... however the travel benefits are amazing... I've managed to squeak by and keep my IATA card for 4 1/2 years now... LOL
How diverse. :lookaroun
I do kind of remember you telling us that you were a travel agent. Or at least I think I remember that.
well...right now it would be like a side thing, if it actually worked and I could get business off of it...it would be more like a part-time/full-time thing.Sounds like a fun thing to do.
But would that be full-time work, or just on the side?

The thing is I don't want it to be a scrapbook book. I want it to look like an actual book. Like something hardback you'd buy at the store. Except instead of having stranger's pictures in them...it would be your pics.hey nibs!that sounds like SUCH a great idea! You could always go under a big name like Creative Memories for your albums, (if you were a CM consultant you'll get great deals on the albums and things) Wow... I'd love to see what you can do with your computer program! It sounds really awsome!
Jess...I've learned so much about what you did! See...that sounds like fun!!!lol... i don't mention it much b/c i don't want steve or the mods thinking i'm advertising... you'll notice i really plug Kingdom Konsultants. I strongly urge people to use a TA... it's amazing how much easier a good TA can make your travel plans.
lol
actually... i do all the travel arrangements for one of the big SC politicians, whom i won't mention names b/c frankly he has the WORST attitude of anyone i've ever met. But, he's great about booking last minute (and i mean in 3 or 4 hours) flights... LOL and he's always good for the money... And he knows i won't hang up on him despite his bad attitude, so he's stuck with me for 4 years now. But i have to admit... when i see his number show up on my cell i have to brace myself... hahahahaha
oh wel... anyway... lol
The variety of choices came from a need in the office. I did all the vegas and disney stuff... but i won't touch Europe, i always give that over to one of the other girls i work/worked with... and still to this day she passes me her disney clients... lol
Asia came in b/c of experience (i spent a good amount of time in Japan when i was younger) and no one else in the office wanted to learn the vacation side of Asia. So i volunteered![]()
So that's me in a travel nutshell! LOL!

I of course have a lot to do still if I want to pursue this. I'd love to learn a little more about photoshop to create some really outstanding pages...so we'll see about that too.
(Oh...and my computer system is awesome!!! The guy who is a partner at the lab we use created it. It's amazing...and definitely different.)
Jess...I've learned so much about what you did! See...that sounds like fun!!!
