For a moment, I though maybe "Coffee Hostess" was one of those outreach for the elderly programs that invent jobs to make them feel wanted.:lookaroun

Nothing liking kicking someone when they're down.

*sniffles*

Believe me, this is no "made up" job. I've never worked so hard!

Not bad in theory, but I have to get up at 4:00 AM.
Which means going to bed really early.
:)

When I was much younger, and more nocturnal than I am now, I had an early morning job--although not as early as yours.

I simply forced myself to go to bed at 9:00. What was amazing was that most nights I fell right to sleep--I had thought I'd toss and turn for hours.

It made a huge difference in my work performance.

Naps also help.

But I gotta tell ya--getting up at 4:00 is not so much of a problem anymore--it's the getting back to sleep that's brutal.

I guess now is as good a time as any to tell you guys I got a new job!
It's not widely known around here, because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, in case I hated it so much I decided to quit.
The jury is still out on that one. :lookaroun
It's a "simple" job. . .I'm the early morning "coffee hostess" at our nearby WAWA (convenience store). Sounds simple enough, huh? NOT! This job is a constant frenzy of keeping coffee pots filled and maintaining, stocking and keeping neat and clean the coffee brewing area and the coffee island (where customers fix their cups).
My hours are 5:30 AM till 10:00 AM, 3 or 4 days a week.

And even though I'm done by 10:00, I then go directly to the nursing home to see my Mom, then come home and do all the other things I usually do.
I'm so tired all the time, I can't think straight. I'm trying. I would like this to work, but I don't know. . .
Needed to vent. Thank you everyone. :)

AWWWW, Hugs Dottie. I could never do that kind of a job, kudos to you.

I think I'm going to go down to the Wawa nearest you and start mixing the coffee section up.

Thank you, girls.
I'm just hoping to get used to it.
Liking it isn't even that important. It is a job, after all. I just don't want to be this tired all the time.

That's what Corey said about his job when he worked form 9pm to 5:30 am. Now he is back to working 3pm to 11:30 pm.

Congratulations Dot!!
Just wanted to tell you, I think WaWa is a ridiculous name for a store. They have them around here, and whenever I see one, I think about the name.

Hi Yellow Shoes!
I'm not a very good sleeper. But I'm so tired that I usually manage a decent night's sleep before work. I go into bed at 8:00.  I watch TV and usually fall asleep before 9:00. But I cannot nap!!!!! I try, but no way.
