I used to have a silk ficus tree that I kept decorated all year.
In the fall I would put orange lights on it and pumpkins.
White lights for Christmas with a few shiny decorations.
Pastel egg lights for Easter.
Red, white and blue lights for Memorial Day and July 4th.
During non-holiday times, just white lights and whatever little decorations I liked.

Very festive.

Colors schmolors!
I'd give it up in an instant to be assured of no snow or ice or bone-numbing winds.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

I always loved those growth spurts! One day they have a drawer full of outfits, the next day nothing fits!

Hey! Last night was our final pool party (we had 4 this season). At 3 of those, we had a 50/50 drawing. I won the drawing at the first party, George won it at the second and believe it or not, I won it again last night!
I was almost too embarrassed to admit that I won! Good thing our neighbors like us! :lol: :lookaroun

I think it was rigged.

I don't know if everyone else heard or not (I'm not reading back), but apparently there was an earthquake in the Gulf today, and people all over Florida felt it?

Weird. Some people I don't believe. One lady said that her house was shaking, but the people across the street felt nothing. Uhhh. Okay

Anyway. Chill day for me. Just relaxing and doing my online homework. Fun :hurl:
