opps really this is good... But do you think it will take long?? I was kinda worried that it would come off. Thanks for the info.

Really... I swear I heard people say they got them at Mouse Gear. But where would they get the cap and ears and patches?? Okay so maybe there is more of a chance of getting a design later years like this...lets hope.. Can anyone confirm if it was bought or made???

Man if they did have Earcot Ears I'd get it and slap on the old logo and put Dreamfinder & Figment in the ears.
But, all of that for at least $15...I dunno...

I could be wrong but I think it was merf that made one out of a pair of YOAMD ears. There is a thread on it showing the disassembly, painting and reconstruction of a pair of SSE ears.

Lot of the special editions are around the price of 15 dollars..but I sometimes wonder how much money does it really cost for them to make the hats, and how much extra we are paying. Thats why I only get special edition ones that are limited for a certain time. I wish they would come out with a limited edition ones that are on that 50 years poster with all different hats designed by certain people that reflect a ride, park, or show. And come out with them each month and make only a limited amount that would be something fun to collect. When I was in DLR they had a haunted mansion one ...but there was n't much to it, just had a big patch on the front of the hitchhilking ghosts and it was black and gray, have they gotten it yet here at WDW, I have yet to see it.

Hmmm...interesting I'll have to do a search on this thanks! The only reason why I thought there was one because I thought I saw in the article for 25th anniversary merch. that it was one of the things. And I also have heard other people mention having one, and I saw a girl with one in a picture ( and I don't think merf is a girl or if he let someone else wear it lol, or maybe has a sweat shop and made multiples hahah) Maybe I'm just being wishful thinking and i'm just going crazy.:lookaroun

Assuming because of your Avatar...I'll look for the person with the sharpie marker writing Epcot on theres..hahaha :) just kidding. I'll be at MK Saturday 5th at night probably around 4:00 hopefully...and the first thing we are doing is making our hat :D I can't wait...I'm taking lots of pictures and hopefully post them to share!

I took some pictures...but I tried to create one...but it was okay...kinda girly not much guy type stuff... and some of the designs and patches made it look tacky something you would get at a craft shop...its okay but it just doesn't look professional. :( I ended up not getting one. BUT I do have report that they have come out with at least 5 new ear designs ...not to create but ones premade...a new minnie and mickey one, a hawaii theme, a new tink one, and I for get the other ones...but they were very cool!

New ear designs? Including Tink ones? I so have to check this out next month! :)

Our daughter is only 6 so I don't suppose she'll mind that much if they look craft-store-esque, she'll just be thrilled to tell everyone "look what I made!" :D

Any idea when they may be released? Or are they already out on the shelves? If they are, we need pictures!! Sounds promising.... :)

Oh ya they have been released!! They have been out since the begining of April! I have pictures too... well at least too. My gf though I was a dork taking them. But once I figure out how to post them on there I'll show. Does anyone feel that they can help me out with this to get them posted on here. I assume one way is doing them through Photobucket.com

Cool! You could post it on an online album like Picasa and then just give us the link to the pictures too, if it's easier....
