Don't quote me on this, but I think that they were removed a while ago. I saw a kiosk where you could do this at Disneyland, but I believe that all kiosks at WDW were removed.
Hope this helps :)

The system disappeared a few years back, but just came back in its new form here at Disneyland back in October. Rumor has it that sales have been good enough that it will be going to WDW now. It's not exactly the same - you don't pick your own tracks anymore. But it's full of out-of-print Disney CDs/soundtracks, and CD compilations from attractions.

Funny this topic should be brought up. I was just thinking the other day what a goldmine Disney could rake in by doing this. I would love to see this idea brought back. I would love to have quite a few of the things I hear on the Live 365 stations on disc. I dont trust downloading. I've heard to many horror stories of people's computers being damaged from downloading bad files/viruses.

It would be my luck if they did have this, they wouldnt have what I wanted anyway.

Back in 2000, you could still make a CD of Disney Music in Downtown Disney. The shop you could get a shirt painted of Disney character, by a machine. I was last down there in 2001 but I didn't go into that shop so I don't know if they are still there.

Walt Disney World ended, quite possibly, because of Internet trading (on our part) and high price (on their fault). 20 bucks for 10 tracks?? Think about it. . . choose a one minute track, and you pay 20 for ten minutes.

So, what does Disney do? Decrease the pitch and speed of the tracks AND loop some of the ride music over and over! Examples: World of Motion queue songs are in a much lower pitch. Also, the Horizons music was looped over and over, while one playing of the loop, in reality, lasted no longer than a minute fifty one.

Still, I was able to purchase five discs, which are treasured in my collection.

Disneyland ended their Forever system. . . and it was since replaced by a new on-Demand system where guests choose an ALBUM (not specific songs) from pre-released selections.

If we're lucky, WDR can get its rightful way, and Disney can start to release some albums in perfect quality (there are several mistakes on the current DL dics) AND unreleased material (*cough* EPCOT).

Overall, VERY great idea...just decrease the price and increase the value and content. DVDs would be much better, come to think of it.

i loved those things! there were so many songs i wanted, though. if i recall correctly, it was about $20 for your choice of 10 songs (that is, without any discounts, of course) my sister and i made one each, so we have quite a few good songs from the parks. they had music from attractions and ambience music. of course, those were around before my family and i got hooked up to the internet. since then we've just downloaded Disney music from the internet...there's a larger selection on the net anyway, not to mention it's a lot cheaper! :lookaroun
i do wish they'd bring the cd recorders back to WDW, though. of course, if there's a certain song you're looking for, or wish you could find, all you have to do is go to Guest Relations...they usually have song lists. Then you can just look up songs on the net :) there's song lists on the net too, though.
