Major executive level shakeup coming?

Sexual improrpriety in the workplace, from what I remember. Which seems to be a nagging problem for Disney's senior executives.

And longtime Disney HR chief Jayne Parker does what, exactly?

Yeah...I thought so...he divorced and went in "free agency" out of the office...if I do recall...

What does HR do? Nothing really...like most public HR...just keep the kids quiet

Most corporate HR departments are giant wastes of time and energy and resources. Disney appears to be no different, but when it comes to their senior executive behavior Disney's HR leadership appears to either be asleep at the wheel, or complicit in trashy behavior.

I still find it fascinating that Lassetter was allowed to stumble out on stage at D23 Expo obviously drunk, and faced no career repercussions for that. His public drunkenness should have been a giant warning flag and enough to call him in to a career-pausing discussion with HR. But... nope.

That should be a problem that HR chief Jayne Parker is forced to address by the Board of Directors. What the heck has her department been doing for the last decade?

...showing up in a name tag and collecting a check. No thought required.

Kinda like how the wdw PR department...who compose and read prepped statements where they announce customer unfriendly policies and price increases and then blame us for "asking for it"...with a straight face.

I haven't found anything. Nor have I heard anything about this.

There was message board chatter about it early in this decade, as I remember. The details were foggy until this thread, but then I remembered that it involved some of the same topics that are taking down all sorts of Hollywood and DC bigwigs the past few months.

Protect the company like every other HR department on the planet.

I don't remember exactly, it was years ago. And I've been chatting on a dozen message boards over the last 20 years.

But it was a name that rang a bell connected to that HR topic, and I wasn't alone apparently. Sounds like he was "invited to retire", to use an HR euphemism for execs of his stature.
