It's that or concrete. Real grass would never survive being trampled every day. It would be dirt/mud in a week.
I'd FP+ that.

It's beautiful actually!

I hope the poster who said they were taking their parents for a final trip has a great time. My parents had us when they were older - I'm in my 30's and Dad is 91, Mom 80. A few years ago they said that trip would be their last - it was bittersweet but probably the best trip ever - very special.

I hope you have a beautiful time and don't let a construction wall or refurb damper you experience. Enjoy every moment and magical memory. Take tons of pics and video. God bless!
Love u for this!!!! Bless ur heart!!! i hope ur next trip is amazing as well!!

The LEDs for the parade route produce a nice warm white that mimics the old PARs that were up.; I was there last week and they were on before Wishes.

Great. Remember when the Storybook Circus marquee debuted and had the cool white LED bulbs standing in for popcorn lights? It only took a few weeks IIRC for them to be switched out for warm white LEDs.

Glad they didn't make the same mistake here.

Has someone mentioned is there another mini statue that was in the hub before that's going to go in on the east side? Chip and Dale?

this is what i was wondering... is there enough mini figures for the other side other than minnie and dumbo... chip n dale are on the west side..

The Hub contained 8 small character statues:
  • Goofy
  • Chip and Dale
  • Brer Rabbit
  • Minnie
  • Donald
  • Pinocchio
  • Pluto
  • Dumbo
Thus, 4 statues will surround the East fountain with the other 4 over by the West fountain.

I don't want mini frozen statues only the classic characters... maybe pooh... ones like that.
bringing frozen in it would kinda ruin it for me... (i love frozen) just not in the group of classics...

It was a joke. No indication at all that Frozen statues are coming to the hub.

very cool. Now you need to make a tutorial on how you made them :)
I could do it! but the real detail that people would really need to know is the placement of bulbs to create the almost tinkerbell like movement of light. that is what creates the magic feeling. but also there is a dimmer on the lights so that I can slow the twinkle effect as well.

i get the same people coming at me whenever i post something...dont reply to my post if ya gonna be nasty.

Hi!
Welcome to our neighborhood. I see you moved in a couple of months ago. Maybe you have visited a bunch of times before you moved in, but it is hard to tell. As you continue to get to know us you will find out that there a lot of different personalities here. Some of them can be grating, but most of us are nice. Even some of the nice ones can get a little aggressive if a new neighbor moves in and acts like he owns the place and demands respect he hasn't earned.

Fantastic.

After seeing this, no doubts at all in the rest of the project. At all. Those tall trees around the entrance to the gardens on the west side? Fantastic.

speaking of lighting... a few years ago I recreated the hub twinkle tree lights... this is a video of them being tested on a small small tree thats why there clustered together but I made them with a gap of 30 inches between each bulb just like at disney...

This is awesome and you REALLY need to post how to make them. :)

Thanks for the insight! i appreciate it
You are so welcome. As I have been in that position. I still love all the pictures I took, it helps me to remember the good times. My mom had , and her sister had Alzheimer's at an early age...70's and 80's. Those picture's mean so much to me, as I need help, remembering those times too. And the times with my kids, and grandkids. After, I've revealed this on several websights, I've been shunned. I love this websight, as there so many, understanding , and forgiving people. I look at you as all best friends. My last remaning, sister is a1,000 miles away and she has her family. I would love to adopt all of my "friends on here" she is older than me, and we havn't seen each other since my brother passed. Thanks, to all who have listed. I'll try to keep my history to myself. You're great for listening.
