A surprise return of Magic Happens would be awesome this year, even if they move it to DCA. But it’ll probably stay collecting dust like PTN. So sad.

Agreed; it got all of like two weeks before it shut down, which is a shame. Would like to see it (and Aurora's color-changing dress) in person at least once.

Has there been any word about which park Main Street Zombictrical Electrical Parade will return to?

Even I'll admit that it was nice to see it on Main Street the last time it was here, but since there hasn't been any real word on WOC returning (at least that I recall) perhaps they'll slot it in there.

Sadly no word on MH coming back just yet, but it will eventuales. Expect Fantasmic by May or June with fireworks around that time too.
Will be even surprised when DLF and MH returned and performed at the same year, given that MH was not premiered at the time Disneyland Forever premiered.

It'd be weird for Disney to have redone the drum in 2017 only to revert it back to the "Disney's" for a DCA run. Plus it's the 50th anniversary of the parade - it's definitely going to Disneyland as the Main Street Electrical Parade.

You're all correct, it's just weird that they have so many night parade complications regardless of park.

That would also explain why they're bring DL Forever back-if they want there to be any shot of Fireworks + F! + MSEP working on the same night that's their best option.

But I thought that when they did PTN/DLF/F! for the 60th the consensus was that it was a failure operationally? So if they're going forward with that now, there are only three possibilities: either they think they've come up with a solution, they've forgotten, or they just don't care that there will be issues. I can't imagine replacing PTN with MSEP would do enough on its own to overcome any problems they had in 2015.

The way the three shows were scheduled for the 60th made it a nightmare to navigate absolutely.

That was the first year I had an AP and I remember the insane gridlock in the entire park anytime it was 8 pm or later (people filling Main Street for the parade/fireworks).

You had the hub/main street being a mess due to fireworks/parade, and the entire western side of the park being a mess because of Fantasmic.

Truth being told, I'd make sure to be out of the gates of Disneyland by 8pm to avoid the gridlock. One too many experiences being stuck in the hub/tommorowland or being yelled at by Fantasmic CMs waving sticks.

Here's a schedule I found for Friday Sep 4 2015:

Disneyland Forever:
One showing at 9:30pm

Fantasmic!
Shows at 9:00pm and 10:45pm

Paint the Night »
Shows at 8:50pm and 10:45pm

Mickey's Soundsational Parade
One showing at 4:30pm

"On April 22, 2022, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks spectacular will return to Disneyland park, and “World of Color” will return to Disney California Adventure park."

Upon its return to Disneyland park, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” will be celebrating its 50thanniversary. In honor of this milestone, the Disney Live Entertainment team will introduce exciting new elements to the “Main Street Electrical Parade” that will continue to evolve this beloved spectacular.

Over the past five decades, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” has brought families together to delight in its many whimsical stories and featured characters. And soon, that will continue for a whole new generation of dreamers. In honor of the parade’s 50th anniversary, this nighttime spectacular will return with an all-new, enchanted grand finale that celebrates the theme of togetherness.

This universal theme is reflected in the creative concept of the grand finale sequence. Inspired by both the original design of classic “Main Street Electrical Parade” floats and Disney Legend Mary Blair’s iconic art style on “it’s a small world,” the new grand finale brings to life more than a dozen Disney Animation and Pixar stories. These stories will be interpreted in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-synthe-magnetic musical sound, with unique representations of beloved characters as animated dolls.

"As the new grand finale passes by, guests along each side of the parade route will see a different set of stylized scenes from classic and contemporary favorite stories such as “Encanto,” “The Jungle Book,” “Raya and the Last Dragon,” “Aladdin,” “Coco,” “Mulan,” “Brave,” “The Princess and the Frog” and more. Check out one of the early pieces of concept art, featuring Mirabel and Antonio from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award-nominated film, “Encanto.”

Thrilled about somthing new for MSEP. Kind of hoping that the Small World Audio Loopcomes back. EitherDL's or TDL's Dreamlights.

Could someoone blow upthe Concept Art? I can't make out SBC real well.

However part of me wishes this was after America, not in place of it. Maybe The Eagle is saved somehow?
For a change, they actually released high resolution art directly on their site (10297x2473!). Here's the full resolution:
