Thanks for the photos (large and small ). I love Christmas and I'm really looking forward to our trip to WDW next month. Interesting placement for the MK tree. I thought it was usually toward the front of the park - just after you come through the train station. Or is there more than 1 large tree?

Also, funny story about the tree at MK being by the Rose Garden. I had a nice conversation with one of the guys standing by the tree who would neither confirm nor deny anything. Basically the tree will be taken down for a couple of days towards the second week in Dec so they can move it to its normal place in Town Square. The 'neither-confirmed-nor-denied' reason the tree is in the Rose Garden right now is that they wanted to use it during the Christmas Parade taping on the 2, 3, and 4 of Dec. but they didn't want to have the train station rehab in the background.

We have pictures of AK Christmas stuff too....well actually Celestia does. I was too lazy to get up that early.

I had talked to a guest relations person today, she said the tree was placed in the rose garden because during the filming of the xmas parade Regis will be stationed in the Town Square Hub. So it was by that request?? Guess we will see what happens

Thanks for the explanation regarding the MK Xmas tree being in the rose garden and for the additional (big) pics. Excellent job!

Although I cannot officially confirm or deny anything, I can tell you that the CM at City Hall didn't tell you the truth. The smaller Christmas tree was put up in the Rose Garden for the Extreme Home Makeover filming. The real MK Christmas tree--the huge one--is still in pieces by the Holiday building in backstage MK.
