I think 11:00 should be safe. Once the first parade and fireworks are over, the non-all-nighter crowd should thin considerably. I agree with you in the pre-MSEP hours though, especially when DAK and Epcot are closing.

I think once HS, EPCOT, AK close everyone will head to MK for the fireworks parade as well. Or take a break then head after 11pm tonight. I do expect high crowds tonight. But as long as I am in I will not mind. I just want to be at the happiest place on earth

That was totally some sort of high school band, there's even band parents walking with them. Source: I was in high school marching band.

It may also have been a program made of students from high schools as well, either way, they probably paid Disney, not the other way around.
I was also in high school marching band. I really think this is a college. Look at the bass drummer at 1:43. That guy is not 17 years old.

I would agree with you if there weren't band parents marching with them. Anyways, we can both agree this isn't an official MK marching band.

Just remember, the point of an event like today isn't how many times can you ride Space Mountain, it's about being there as part of the madness, and enjoying the atmosphere all night. I'm going to be satisfied either way.

I went for the first three hours or so, just long enough to enjoy the sunrise. I think there were a total of 20 people on the ferry with me on the way to MK. The place was pretty empty, it'll be interesting to see how much busier things get tonight. I'm really not sure what to expect.

Based on the wait times it does not look any different than I would expect for Memorial Day weekend. Though,I am not fearing that it will be crazy packed tonight. I will be there though
