Good deal. Otherwise, I'd really be out of my mind watching a terribly-framed live webcam while live-posting about it at 1:08 am all while I'll have to wake up at 6:30 with my two kids.

I would have both go to Alkami, and hell they can use Wirecast.

after watching paint the night.. the differences are night and day..
MSEP looks SO RETRO with their pure lightbulb system.
vs the digital screens of paint the night.

Both of them are digital.

Dude, you work in IT, iirc.

The question is, what is the resolution of the bulbs you are lighting up.

And, frankly, I still prefer MSEP. But, it needs many of the scenes updated and replaced.

The dancing canopy scene should go.

As should the finale, to be replaced with fab 5 and fantasmic.

If memory serves me correctly, last year's cam offered a great view of MSEP. Not sure why they're so bad at it this year.

I think it just failed to shut off like the rest of them did.

Edit: It just shut off. If my theory is correct, someone went up there and did it manually.

But what was it aiming at?What was it's purpose? It was a focused spot, not a flood. Was hitting a railing and flowe garden.

Sad and strangely ironic what happened to their co-founder.

My boss knew him personally, and worked for Akamai before his current job and recruiting me.

Heh, well, it doesn't take a genius to rotate a camera on a tripod to make for a better show...especially when it's been online for 20 some odd hours now and you have a good idea what the field of view is.

Just earlier today the perspective was different. This morning you could see the whole street, even the horse drawn trolleys!

Somebody way over adjusted it for the night time festivities.

They moved it a few feet to the right earlier today to get a better view of the Castle.

They moved the camera twice and used Please Stand By Graphics
