speaking of the show at disneyland. They really did an awesome job in the lightning, lasers..etc..

They can't rely on pyro as much as they do at MK...due to the fact it's in the middle of a city.

That said, as @Tom noted, often their fireworks get scrubbed for the same reasons, where at MK they are like clockwork.

Mixed. I'm still excited to see it, and there are things I still don't like about the new parade.

But, yes, it does make MSEP look quaint and nostalgic.

Better distribution platform.

Not sure why they didn't just go that platform for all (or outsource one better than the streaming company they are using...)

My guess is somebody "knows" somebody.

Youtube's CDNs are built for worldwide and their files are spit to 4-6 seconds long. Not 10 like the DLR feeds

how is the same company responsible for what is going on at DL and WDW? The asymmetry is astonishing in the show quality, both the content and the distribution of the content (i.e. 6 streams vs. 1 stream - mostly of people waving at their aunt in Idaho)? You're not supposed to tell your favorite kid that they're your favorite kid.

The new parade, while it plays well, is very Disney Channel.

MSEP is classic DIsney, and I'm very happy to have it at WDW. Because, in 5 years, no one will remember that Pop song, even my kid, but baroque hodown is a unique soundtrack all it's own.

So, yeah, dated, and needs visual updates, but it doesn't need to be what I just saw at Disneyland, imho.

People had similar complaints about this webcam earlier during FOF. So, I'm just gonna sit here and dance around to Baroque Hoedown while I wait to see more than a few little glimpses of fairies.
