What’s the status of masks on water rides? Still required on Splash and River Rapids?
Everybody wore a mask on all rides. There no problems wearing masks on coasters either as some people thought they might fly off.

I would point out that they did not allow you to walk and eat or drink. cast were telling people to move off to the side or sit on a bench to eat or drink. There were no issues finding an empty place to sit or stand to eat or drink.

I have. Multiple times. It is amazing though because a team swoops in quickly; seemingly out of nowhere, and they vanish almost immediately. Truly an act of Disney magic.
You're not kidding. I know of horrible accidents that have happened that were only witnessed by like a CM and no one else and the EMTs vanished quickly. Like actual deaths that would have made the news

Good luck to everyone going today. I noticed a lot of cops parked around property the other day (extra security with high profile peeps staying on property?) As well as shops and restaurants felt extra cold with the AC on full blast.

I know I’m in the minority, but the park this empty in the middle of the day holds no appeal for me. It looks eerie and sterile. I can’t wait for the place to be filled with crowds again, because that’s when everything will be back to normal (or something approaching it).

I hope that those of you who are currently there, or planning to go soon, have a safe and enjoyable time.
They should fill it with bustling droids and aliens to give it more kinetic energy.

The videos posted the last couple of days have looked “eerie” to say the least.

That’s a blow to the ambience.
We’ve all wanted less crowds to deal with for years (Disney fault...they haven’t invested enough)....but this way is not what we had in mind.

Maybe a few more people would be better... oh and no masks... also in November to January time frame.... I’m not asking for to much am I?

There are some people who can't be satisfied. 🤷‍♀️ There was zero question that, when the parks opened today, there would be some complaints from people who aren't there about the crowds -- too big, too small, but never, ever would they be found just right.....
And there are some people who just want parks open no matter what and don’t want to think about the business consequences, dangers, risks, or operational future.

We all get through our days different ways.

You know who has really taken the sheen of the reopening?

Florida...plain and simple.

We’ll all see over the coming months (maybe years) how it shakes out.

Looks like there was a ticket issue this morning? Tickets on phones were not scanning, which created a large line of people down the walkway towards the Contemporary from Guest Services.

It looked like a disaster. I was supposed to be there today but I cancelled my park pass reservation. It looks way too busy for my tastes. Almost like a normal day. At least at entry time. Maybe it's better around the park itself. Some parts looked empty. They're going to get roasted and rightfully so. Already anticipating the vloggers saying it's unsafe and uncomfortable. I know it's nowhere near the 'regular' crowd but double the guests of AP/CM previews is too much. It just is. They need to do better.

I knew they'd let in too many. And it wasn't very smart opening up ticket windows the day of opening. And why don't the magic bands work? I haven't had a physical card in years. So now I need to go to guest services and get one?

Not even remotely close to a normal day. Things look worse when they are distanced. Take a look at the wait times around MK and AK. It is not too busy.

I know what I saw with crowds on main street. I'm uncomfortable. It's too many guests.

Yes it's way better. I acknowledged it wasn't a 'regular' day. But lots of people are uncomfortable, it's not just me. Yes around the park is better now. But it was a massive turn off. Sorry.
