5th gate? Just build a new resort Bob.
Yes it did. Along with the “farewell wishes” Merch. But there isn’t any HEA line of Merch that I’m aware of.
The was a little HEA merch kicking around MK in 2019 when I was there but it was all so dissonant from the show itself, so I am not surprised if it sat unsold.

They developed a beautiful fairytale show with an absolutely haunting logo (and that’s not a compliment)

I am not an insider but I did hear from someone who would know that Fantasmic is on the docket for summer/fall, with timing very much up in the air when that person communicated that to me a few weeks ago.
Fantasmic dinner packages just popped up in the recommended section when searching for dining reservations for Memorial Day week. It says no show times available but I take this as a sign since it didn't show up yesterday.

What Merch does HEA sell?

There were definitely tshirts I remember for HEA

For Rivers of Light they had the lanterns and popcorn buckets and sold the CD of the music, and some other stuff. So I don't think lack of merchandise drove the cancelling of it, I think a lot of people didn't think it measured up to other "night time spectaculars" .... Personally I really liked it, specifically the music, and thought it fit the park, but definitely get why others didn't

Anxious to see what merch they sell for Harmonious. Hopefully a CD with Epcot Forever included. Wishful thinking lol.

F! as quick as Memorial Weekend????? Or am I misreading? If F! is weeks/months away, why would it show up now?

I'm thinking that they are about to extend park hours and bring it back. I'm going to keep checking each day for updates. So long as there is enough staff to do so, I don't see a reason for them not to go ahead and bring it back. With capacity opening up, they need more attractions and shows to disperse crowds in the parks.

I noticed this as well. Definitely made me excited for a second. Hopefully a sign of things to come!

I’m sure there is some training and the traditions orientation class but it’s a short term internship so I wouldn’t think training would last too long. I would assume most of your training is done “on the job” so to speak where you are directly trained in whatever area you are assigned. Maybe a week or 2 to learn the ropes.
And some will have already done their training and have worked in their role for a few weeks last year. If they’re given the same roles they could pretty much start after a day or two of refresher training and Covid protocols.

Right now only EPCOT is open late enough to have fireworks. Maybe MK too if they did it at 9PM after park closing. I think we need to see an hour added to MK and maybe 2 at DHS to get to night shows. The college program kids come back June 14 which should mean enough CMs to expand hours and add staff for crowd control. Not saying they start June 14 but they will have the ability to expand hours and add more CMs if needed.

Pre-pandemic, MK regularly closed at 9 PM and had fireworks right at 9.

Thanks! I kind of figured. However, are we close to F! if Dining Packages are showing up?(Granted no dates or times)

Surprised no one on Twitter picked that up since last night.
According to other forums, the F! Dining package has appeared intermittently since the Fall.

Just as some people saw an option to buy annual passes, only to find the sale wouldn’t go through. Or saw a button for adding FPs, it’s likely just a glitch. Or live testing.

Yes. Saw it at 9 in August of 2019. They would probably have to start it at 9:15 in July but that’s not really an issue and has no impact on parties.

Remember, IllumiNations was at 9 pm year-round. Sometimes they would just delay it 10 minutes.
Makes sense. In June/July it would be difficult to start right at 9, by end of Aug the days get shorter and shorter heading into fall. Either way once the CP kids are back there‘s not a staffing concern with extending hours anyway. EPCOT is probably fine it’s just a little extension at MK and DHS if they wanted to do night shows there in Juiy.

If they wanted to. There is precedent for showing fireworks after a park is closed. DHS frequently had fireworks or Fantasmic! 30 min after park close. August 2019 was 9 am to 9 pm with F! at 9 pm at Star Wars fireworks at 9:30 pm.

The weird thing on later nights in the summer had been running the projection show Once Upon a Time after the fireworks, which is thematically backwards.

Will be interesting to see if it goes back to HEA then OUAT. Or if OUAT even comes back.
