According to other forums, the F! Dining package has appeared intermittently since the Fall.

Just as some people saw an option to buy annual passes, only to find the sale wouldn’t go through. Or saw a button for adding FPs, it’s likely just a glitch. Or live testing.
So.... it's not a new thing.....so not good news, Of Course! Just like a COVID Safe F! for Feb 2021 we all know how that went!!!

I feel like for the summer they could just put a band on some boats and throw them out there. Coordinate it with the ToL awakenings, add some special food/drink carts, I dunno, might work. There’s stadium seating there, just give people something to watch and eat as a surprise and delight. I think one of the problems with RoL was making the loading process feel like F! and it built up peoples expectations, which were not met
Get David Gilmour and do a recreation of the Venice concert.

I learned that the hard way on our trip 2 weeks ago. Our first full day there was at Hollywood Studios and we planned to get there at opening and ride Slinky and order from Woody's. The line for Slinky was 80 or 90 minutes long, so we got on the 25-minute line for Toy Story Mania instead and hoped the Slinky line would be better when we were done. It was even longer, so we headed over to MMRR. while on line, we figured we should place our mobile order for Woody's so we could ride MMRR, get our food, and head back to the resort to swim. The joke was on us because the next window was just over 2 hours away, which meant waiting 2 hours to even press the button telling them to start making our food. We were already getting hungry, so that wasn't going to cut it. We ended up getting a much more reasonable window at Backlot Express. Chicken tenders and fries are good, but I really wanted to try the brisket sandwich and my wife really wanted to try the totchos, so the disappointment was real. On the plus side, the outdoor tables were almost completely unoccupied because it wasn't even noon yet, so we had plenty of space for ourselves in a shady spot without anyone else close by. Next time, we're ordering much sooner.

This food issue is actually an issue. I’m sure they are aware of it but we are here now and it was 3 hour wait to get food at woodys. Do I need that place!? No. But it was an hour at get backlot. And about 50-60 people just hovering around the entrance waiting to get their alert to pick up their food. It was hot and people were miserable. Capacity is up but no having shows and dining availability is really unpleasant. I am genuinely curious about how seriously they are taking it. Had two CMs comment today that they are short staffed and can’t find employees to cover shifts. ☹️

The lack of dining options, and the strain that puts on the locations that are open given Disney’s desire to increase capacity, has been a problem for months. And it’s only going to get worse before it gets better. We lucked out in March and were able to order food and get it in a decent amount of time. But, there were often long waits for an open window depending on where and when you ordered. I understand it’s a staffing issue, but it’s one Disney should have the foresight to see coming a while back and handle before mid-June.

I never had to deal with this on my two trips, but that’s because I got a TSR everyday and ate breakfast in my room. Skipped lunch.
