If that's true Why couldn't TDO hold on to ROL so, it can come back when TDO pulls the trigger? If ROL really is dead, DAK has nothing to go back too except the Awakenings and maybe more FOTLK. IDK how many people stay in DAK for those 2 in the evenigs.

RoL is gone
Ugh. That's so disappointing. AK is so amazing after dark with or without any night show, I hate that it can't extend hours. I mean, Pandora is practically meant to be enjoyed in the dark!
Everest is like a whole new ride at night!
The lighting/lanterns/lamps around the park are incredible at night.
AK comes alive after dark.
Because it didn’t work. Here’s hoping what ever comes next does.

I feel like for the summer they could just put a band on some boats and throw them out there. Coordinate it with the ToL awakenings, add some special food/drink carts, I dunno, might work. There’s stadium seating there, just give people something to watch and eat as a surprise and delight. I think one of the problems with RoL was making the loading process feel like F! and it built up peoples expectations, which were not met

What was your "pre-game"? ROL was like a night at the ballet. You wouldn't find me there after the first go-round.
Arrive at AK at 3-4 armed with 3 FPs (Safari, Dinosaur, FoP/Everest) now in any order:
-Catch Finding Nemo and FotLK
-Tusker House ROL package
-Use my FPs, and SRL at Everest
-Catch the first show
Post Game, book it to Pandora and get in the FOP line before close, saunter out enjoying an empty glowing Pandora, usually catch the final Awakening and head out.

Right now only EPCOT is open late enough to have fireworks. Maybe MK too if they did it at 9PM after park closing. I think we need to see an hour added to MK and maybe 2 at DHS to get to night shows. The college program kids come back June 14 which should mean enough CMs to expand hours and add staff for crowd control. Not saying they start June 14 but they will have the ability to expand hours and add more CMs if needed.
Do they actually start work shifts June 14th-on? Or do they need class/training starting June 14th?

I’m sure there is some training and the traditions orientation class but it’s a short term internship so I wouldn’t think training would last too long. I would assume most of your training is done “on the job” so to speak where you are directly trained in whatever area you are assigned. Maybe a week or 2 to learn the ropes.

I'd be careful even joking about stuff like that- you don't want guys (and gals) in black suits showing up at your house. They may not be classified as "high" explosives, but it's still tons and tons of explosives- all regulated by the ATF.
