No suspense. As far as I know the thread title is still valid.
Bring on the pyro already! At this point suspense is not helpful.
Still fluid. There’s a date to be ready by.Its not even the debut date its why Disney is continuing to hold off announcing it. Must be some reason behind it.
Back to back days Rteetz? July 3rd, 4th,5thI have a 3rd and 4th park reservation just in case they change things up.
It’s not really that surprising as it’s the logistics of staffing and crowd control that are the bigger issues, not just the shooting of the fireworks offIt's crazy to me that they are waiting so long to bring fireworks back. Mainly cause other parks in Orlando have night time shows already.
The whole point of the After Hours event format being used this fall instead of the party format (in addition to distancing itself from being MNSSHP) is to allow for fireworks to fun for all guests, every night to prevent pent up fireworks demand.
I have a feeling that we’ll be waiting to see how fireworks returning plays out before a call is made on MVMCP being replaced by Disney After Hours Merry Mixer.
I wouldn’t think it will matter too much for out of state guests, especially people flying in. I would think that it would potentially cause a major run of locals, but they have the park reservation system to ensure the place isn’t overrun. If Disney were smart and money hungry they would shift more park capacity to resort guests and away from AP holders and then announce. It could essentially sell out any remaining hotel rooms they have open if people really want to see fireworks. Of course you could always park in the garage, hop the bus from DIsney Springs and watch from the beach at Poly. Since the resort hotel rooms aren’t open yet it should be easy to find a spot to sit and watch, but you didn’t hear that idea from meI wonder, when Disney settles on a date for fireworks, how far in advance they’d announce it?
Let’s say they are going to have fireworks July 6th, are they going to announce it 1, 2, 3 weeks in advance? or Same day?
Or does it not affect people canceling/changing their trip dates because it’s already within a month so it’s a non-issue?
The day they announce the date is more exciting to me because we already know they eventually will be back. I would think at least, the announcement is imminent

i would be devastated if I was a person going for my every few years trip and Happily Every After (MKs best attraction) wasn’t playing at all the week I was there. Most people who go to Disney World only go every few years (or less!), and wouldn’t feel any need for a seasonal show, because it’s all special. I think the plan for this fall is the best of everything, everybody gets happily ever after, every night, and there’s after hours events for people who want to give Disney piles of money.Or they could have simply ran a seasonal fireworks show for everyone... and satisifed both audiences... what a WILD IDEA???
or
Not run so many parties??
So many choices...

I understand, but the single best thing to do / most impressive thing at Disneyland has never been a firework show.Have no fear... millions of survivors of Disneyland's fireworks schedule have lived through this horror and have not shown signs of long term damage.

Halloween Screams for everyone?Whatever... Remember... and Fantasmic! were good enough to justify a trip to DL on their own.
And it still debunks your 'concern'. Before Disneyland got corrupted with the ticketed event non-sense from FL, seasonal entertainment was JUST PART OF THE DEAL.. and people loved it.

Halloween Screams for everyone?
It’d never work.
