I have to say I disagree about FoF. I don’t think it’s hodgepodge at all. In fact, I’d say it’s more cohesive than a lot of our recent parades considering it actually stuck to one central theme (Fantasyland). It also still looks nice and well kept and is much more detailed than our last 3 parades (SADCTP;DDCTP;CADCTP) I will admit I’d like to see it expanded, but to “can” it would be a mistake IMHO.

I agree with this. "Disjointed Hodgepodge" isn't at all words I'd use for Festival of Fantasy. It's pretty cohesive and well done. Agreed on wanting a few more floats but I think they did a great job. Everytime something new pops up something .... lol

I think Dreaming Up is impressive, mostly, (I don't care for the music) but FOF isn't suddenly bad because of it.

The problem I have with FoF is not what is there, but what isn't. It just needs to be longer, add a float with Eric and Max to the Little Mermaid unit. A Snow White float for between the dragon and the finale. Some smaller in between units could go a long way in making the parade better. Ideally they would add some more floats for now, and then get a brand new parade for the 50th (no borrowed floats).

If MK does get a version of PTN , I definitely do not want all the Pixar floats but I would like the awesome Mack float! I know some don’t like the idea of a semi truck going down the parade route but the lighting effects are amazing! I hope MK also gets the finale orbs that they totally stole the idea from Spectromagic! All in all I hope what WDW is planning Is a Paint The Night version of SpectroMagic! SpectroMagic returning in a whole new way would drive the fan community nuts!!

Festival of Fantasy really needs to go or be updated. Especially after seeing Tokyo’s amazing Dreaming Up Parade!
Anything but a Paint The Night version of Spectromagic.

The last WDW parade that had of floats during the day was either Mickey Mania or Mickey's 60th birthday parade back in 1988.

Dreamlights version of Spectro, or any dreamlights version for that matter, would be awesome... but I don’t think that’s what MK will be getting. Paint The Night is very popular and probably much cheaper to build than a Dreamlights style parade.

FOF is still a awesome parade but 3 years from now I’d hope they will want to replace it or make changes.

Anyone think that for the 50th WDW get a new daytime parade and likely borrow paint the night after pixar fest is over? Could be possible, Just a thought though.

Fatigue issue aside, if they have non-castle areas where they think projection can work, putting them in could help better disperse the nighttime spectacular crowd. I am sure they have noticed that HEA's castle centric design has made the crowding issue, particularly in the Hub, seemingly even worse than it used to be. Same with the post fireworks exodus crowd: both, which in turn, overburden the
transportation system.

I could see FoF running for some time. It's a very good parade. There is really no dated tech issues that warrant a complete replacement. Adding a unit and/or some walking characters along with routine maintenance is all it really needs. I can understand why those of you who go very frequently would like to see something different but I don't know if that really justifies the expenditure for a total replacement in 3 years. I probably would rather see that kind of money go towards other things if I had to choose.

I highly doubt their building that new Incredibles float only to use it for a couple months then send Paint The Night out. Plus that many Pixar floats would not fit in at MK at all! I’m all for MK having a filler parade until the 50th but let’s be honest if WDW gets DLs Paint The Night they won’t be giving it up for a Very long time, so there goes the new parade plans.

Main Street buildings would be the only option, MK doesn't have much space to project on unlike Disneyland where they have five different areas (Castle, Main Street, ROA, Matterhorn occasionally and IASW)

Nope, they have 3 right now and would add up to 4 once Incredibles comes, also with the parade being short in comparison to other parades it just seems very pixar heavy.
Oh, I forgot about toy story, I was only thinking of Monsters inc & cars
