I actually like it, but my opinion doesn’t really matter on this. Bob Iger’s directives matter more. Imagine it blending into some classic MK light parade music. I just hope they don’t go with a street party sound that is completely inappropriate in a Castle Park.

Move Mousekedance It to DHS where it belongs and is needed. Assuming the dumpster is still filled with SpectroMagic.

Curious if MK will get any new MK infrastructure or changes around the park in preparation for the 50th? Possibly for the new nighttime parade, HEA update or whatever else they might have planned?
I keep thinking they should expand the hub lighting towers (color changing leds) along the rest of the parade route. Themed of course. Not sure why this hasn’t been done yet? Though aside from the seasonal entertainment I suppose they haven’t had a need to do so. Idk if any of the 50th entertainment will require it? @marni1971 ?

No. MK will get new DAK infrastructure though.

Has anyone else noticed the FoF floats are fading? I get why due to the FL sun and weather... but I feel it’s also a lack of refurb. Sigh.

Hopefully it is getting replaced in 2021... or a refurb at least.

Seemed like some of the floats were a little bit, or maybe I’m just being picky lol.

Not to bring up the nighttime parade subject again but two thing I hope they include is smaller floats in between the large floats and especially fog effects. The fog effects in SpectroMagic were so awesome, especially on the Mickey float when it filled the street and the Fantasia units. Unfortunately I can also see the reason why they won’t include it again and probably why PTN doesn’t have it, because it’s a effect that is very temperamental, just like the Maleficent Dragons fire effect and the “steam” effect which rarely works.

Guests also complained about the fog effects at Not so Scary this year causing them to be scaled back after the first few weekends. I doubt any kind of significant fog effects will be a part of anything in florida anytime soon.

PTN would look really cool with fog effects in particular Mac and Mickey.

Also parade route projections and other area effects would be interesting. The projections wouldn’t surprise me at all to be added at some point to a nighttime parade. Probably not WDW but maybe DL.

I hope the new nighttime parade will be better and longer than Paint The Night but I don't expect it to top TDL Dreamlights. That parade is huge and has multiple 3 story tall floats which we can't do here. However, i feel Paint the Night's soundtrack is better and more fun than Dreamlights soundtrack Also, I hope they replace Festival of Fantasy. It has not aged well. And once you see TDL Dreaming Up Parade it makes FOF look dated and boring. Dreaming Up has some of the most imaginative floats ever created for a Disney parade.

Dreamlights soundtrack has an amazing version of the Small World theme.

I hope MK gets a parade like Dreaming Up, updated version of Parade of Dreams, or a updated version of Surprises Celebration/Party Gras with the giant balloon floats! That was a really fun parade.

Whatever the next parade will be I hope it includes show stops again.

Obviously it’s considered the golden anniversary but I wish that didn’t mean everything has to be decorated in gold... lol. So tacky. I’m sure many guests however will be In Love with gold being everywhere.
I’m picturing a lot of gold bunting and banners. The castle, unfortunately will probably be similar to the Disneyland 50th overlay with that ugly mirror. Hopefully at least without the mirror this time!

A smaller scale (lower float height) of TDL’s Drealights would still be welcomed. It is the DREAMLIGHTS technology and whimsical nature along with an updated Baroque Hoedown that make DREAMLIGHTS a win.

Yeah, that is what makes TDL's parade route so awesome is they can have tall and wide floats. Manyof the floats in Dreamlights and Dreaming Up are huge. Even their seasonal parade floats are really big.
