Does that mean everyone shares your views? I'm confused.. Sir - - I like to compromise to. I represent one view, a view that is hold by lots of people. As for Test Track, I am GLAD it brings in fans...but for me, it's not much when compared to WOM. It doesn't meet up to it's pontential.

Pooh is fine. Nice new effects, same ride length, very enjoyable.

Tiki Room - for the fans of the Tiki Room, many are insulted. The music (50s, Rap, and etc) is out of line with the Adventureland, Walt's insulted, Iago (to me) is pretty annoying. I can't sit through it. Believe it or not, there are ways to compromise. If you have courage, and belief, anything is possible. I've come up with a WHOLE LIST to make the TIki Room "presentable" to other audiences, while retaining the original Walt Disney wit for those who adore the original. I am not sure if I want to list them, let me know if you're curious.

*deep breath* Ah, I needed that

Nani? Why do you think it's funny when he says that? Ursus does like change, but only if the new ride captures the essence and feel of the old ride while being better than the old ride.

There are some rides I do like that have replaced old ones, but they just don't have the same feeling from the old ones. An example is Test Track, I like it, but it just dosen't have the feel of World of Motion.

I personally like Ursus' views and vision, not to mention I like how he talks of his old nostaglic memories and such.

On the TT note, like I said, I'm glad its here to attract guests. But as a replacement, it's not very good. WOM fans are drained...and half the visitors at EPCOT are non-thrill fan seekers; very demographic. WOM was a colorful, original, and inspiring attraction looking at the past and how we make our tomorrows (currently present in COP and Spaceship Earth) in such a way...beyond belief. What an education and lesson learned...while you laughed your way through it.

And it should close...and be changed. But not with a fast spaced 5 minute thrill. To me, that's very below potential. Maybe a new TYPE of World of Motion; a new kind of ride, and Test Track added on.

Like I said, when you imagine and put your mind to it, anything is possible. "A piece of the pie for everyone."

I like change. (Maybe someone won't laugh.)

Oh, thanks JE!! I"m glad I'm not alone...see? There are other people!! :D

(On the Iago note...and Zazu...there's room to put em...maybe Magic Carpets of Aladdin, somewhere else? Or, with one of my ideas, they fit in the Tiki Room without insulting it)

This really is a tricky subject, and it's obvious we're not going anywhere with it. I do understand both sides. Sometimes Grizz tend to overreact, but I'm also one who feels like J.E. Test Track is good in its own way, like WoM was in its own way.

The only real issue right now that I could see is that people VOICED how fed up they are, and it might have seemed a little harsh to newer members.

Its no use telling people to ignore ine thread or ignore one comment, that everybody is entitled to their opinions but enough is enough... I guess it's like we said a while back: we're a big family, and even families have their quarrels once in a while.

Eventually this will clear up and we'll have harmony again. And then, as someone said, a new "thread" will appear and we'll be into it again... That's ohana for ya!

I miss Listen to the Land. I miss the cuckoo clock in the Land.

I'm feeling very nostalgic. I saw a cuckoo clock in an antique store. It made me sad.

WHY DID PRESSLER HAVE TO TAKE AWAY MY CUCKOO CLOCK???

Well you could write him a letter....

...like I did. I did get a very nice letter from his office "thank you for your interest..." and a nice vacation planning video.

What a waste of time.
