Hi all.
Today is... kind of bittersweet in this household.
On one hand, my sister is graduating from high school today.
On the other... this marks the one-year anniversary of my grandpa's death:

Try as I might, I still cannot believe the outpouring of emotional support that can come from a few pixels of speech on my screen; but console they did. The only PM's I've ever bothered to save were ones of condolences from last year.
Even though we've never met, I'm blessed to have you all as friends.

As an aside... using a bit of math, we figured out something of a milestone. My grandpa was a teacher and principal for at least 20 years, and one lesson (among countless others) he'd taught us from the start, was that education is key.
My sister's graduating at the same time as his passing, one year to the hour, at least.

My condolences are belated Dan, as I wasn't around this time last year. I can't think of a better way for your sister and family to celebrate your grandpa's life. Hugs and prayers for you today. :kiss:

It's so gross. We're under an "air stagnation warning" again today. Which basically means that all the pollution is just marinating us here.
Taking the ferry across the Hudson this morning, you could just see the fog of crud hovering over the city. Morning Jenny :wave:
