I told my sis about all of you and Bunny's shower, but I made her SWEAR not to tell mom. She would just spend that whole time thinking on every news story out there of people meeting each other from the net and having something horrible happen to them. My sister has some of that in her, because I'm the baby sister. :brick: :brick: I told her yesterday that I may be the youngest, but I'm not stupid. I wouldn't even attempt it if I didn't believe it would be an awesome experience!

that's kinda how I explained it to my mom...since I had to tell her b/c I had to ask her if I could have that Friday off work. I still think she thinks I'm crazy, but she hasn't really talked to me about it since then. And I actually prefer it that way. And WHF has been so supportive of the whole thing. (But I mean, how could he not be, I'm letting him leave for Daytona tomorrow night...all by his lonesome...so fair is fair.)

Well, Mom's had enough on her plate worrying about my dad. All she knows is that I'm going out of town to a friend's baby shower. All of which is true.
Besides, I really to need to have some separation from my family, however brief. The dilemma of the stay-at-home mom : you need some independence, or you will be so dependent on your family. It's good to break out once in a while. It also makes you appreciate everyone at home even more! :sohappy: :sohappy:

I have faith that you'll get it done though Susan! And I'm great! My mom just found the charger for the camera that she gave me, so now I can charge the battries and have a camera for the shower!
