Legal
Fireworks which stay on the ground and emit sparks or showers of sparks

Illegal
Any firework which leaves the ground. e.g. bottlerockets, saturn missles, roman candles, etc.
Any firework which sounds a report (bang). e.g. Firecrackers, bottlerockets, etc.

But they do sell fireworks here. . .to out-of-state buyers.
It's very confusing.

Spent a really nice afternoon at the pool with our friends, even though the weather is not nice and no one actually went into the pool.
