I'm just extremely happy for her... she's worked so damned hard these past few years, and she's definitely earned it.

Come to think it, she also earned two things she never thought would happen: Grade 12 Honour Roll, and the Literature Award. :sohappy:

So true - 7 1/2 years of doing child care looks pretty insignificant on paper, but the hours I worked and the insuing aggravations were pretty significant to me!

I spent several years caring for old and sick family members.
I couldn't "work" during that time, but no one's interested in seeing that on a resume.

hey Jenny... sounds like you are getting a facelift in your backyard. That ought to turn out real nice. I redid all my landscaping in the fall and it really makes the house look so much different and better!
