yay! I'm glad you came to a decision you're happy with. When's the next US? As far as a level II US, when we had ours all I could tell was that they just spent a lot more time taking detailed pictures... sadly it wasn't any clearer.

Which reminds me, are you guys gonna get a 3D US? My SIL had one...
Well, then next one I have scheduled is my 20-week anatomy scan when we find out the gender. That's Feb. 23. But I have a feeling I'll have at least 1 of these Level II's before that. I'll find out more when I go in to sign the refusal I guess.

Not sure about the 3D. I suppose if the doctor wants me to but I'm not sure if I would just on my own. SIL had them and the pics were amazing yet creeped me out a little bit for some reason :shrug:

Good decision
I thought so too. :D

So, a little update from yesterday. I called my doctor and cancelled my amnio appointment. They were fine with that, I just need to go in and sign a refusal and they'll want to have me do 2 Level II ultrasounds and a fetal echocardiogram instead. I'm way more comfortable with those non-invasive tests and feel relieved with our decision :)

That's good Steph I am glad you guys are feeling good about your decision. :)

anyone home?

Hi Bunny! How have you been?

That is great that you came to a decision. When the doc told me to have one no one told me we could refuse to do it. :dazzle: I was always told the doc knew best. Well even now I know to question things. More from this thread than in real life. I have to say I have learned soooo much from my friends here.
Me too! Some of it quite kooky and useless info, but important stuff too

yeeeah... they kinda creeped me out too. that, plus they were SO not covered by our insurance, and I wasn't going to shell out an extra $300 for early pictures. I figured i could wait a few more months and see the real thing. :D

Yeah that's alot of moolah. I've seen girls post pics of theirs on their Bump profiles, and some of them I honestly can't make out the baby at all.

I'm good, trying to get ready for training.

I am training our new sales manager on our customer service database "Sales Force" today. He has no (seriously zero) computer experience so it should be fun.

Glad to hear everyone's feeling better at your house.

How is it possible to have NO computer experience? Is he 80?

And yes, ding dong the bug is gone! :D

Wha? How is that possible???
my SIL's were really good. She even did a side-by -side after my nephew was born. they looked exactly alike. creepy!
See SIL's don't look anything like the baby after she was born

I'm debating whether I should wake up sleeping beauty so I can drop her off at my MIL's house early..

Plus it'll help her go to sleep easier tonight. But I hate waking her up when she's sleeping..

Decisions...

You know I am not 100% sure, but I think he is in his 60's. The explanation I got from other co-workers is that he was the president of the bank in Mississippi (where our other office is) and he always had an assistnat who did all his computer work, so he never really had to do it before.

heh. The boss of my old job was like that. Never touched a computer in his life. And he didn't need to. I wish I could have had someone type all my e-mails for me!

The world has gotten a bit dimmer today...

That was beautiful Brenda, and so true. :(

Hi! Just got up:eek: my sleeping schedule is all off wack. I told my brother I was in trainin for the trip. We are driving. :hurl:
Dang, girl!!
I hope it's a girl!
For some reason I feel like it's a boy, but everyone else thinks girl. My boss has some numbers thing she does (has been right w/ both of hers and both my co-workers that she's done it on) and it says girl. Same with that Chinese gender predictor thingery, it says girl too. Guess we'll see!
