Whats going on Lance?

I hope you and your family are doing fine..and your new job is going well also...my job is cutting back hours..not very good..so Carina is trying to pick up more hours, but they are cutting back, so she is trying to find another job, even if she has to work evenings, we do not like this, but have to do it. Mom is doing so much better! The surgery and progressive stroke has pretty much resolved! She even got to "cook" something the other day..she was overjoyed! :ROFLOL:

Hello Amy! I can understand about your job...we are not doing well at our hospital...hours being cut..going home without pay..not good...

Thanks. I should be back full time at the end of March, hopefully sooner.

It is tough, and it's happening everywhere. But, I am working one day a week, and though I hate being on the dole, I am blessed that I have a job to go back to full time. And I'm looking it as an opportunity...more time with the kids, time to get organized, time to maybe write a little.

Today's my second day "off" and it is hard to get into a routine!

I know, right?

I write mostly silly stuff...stuff that I think is funny, but who knows how other people see it. I occasionally update my blog and I'd like to do more of that (in fact, the morning I've just had will make a good post!) but I'd like to write an actual book. Though apparently real writers have this thing called discipline...

Discipline??? We don't need no discipline...:lol:..I would very much like for you to write a book! I would also like to read the finished product...this time of year I read quite a bit..more now than rest of the year due to weather.

Another sleepless night thanks to my little man last night. And feeling worse today. Going on a week now being sick. :brick:
Luckily my ILs are fantastic and offered to come up for the afternoon/night and help out so I can rest and hopefully get better (DH is traveling). They're even spending the night and just went to the supermarket to get fixings for homemade chicken soup :slurp:

How are you? Sounds like you have what I had. Oh no...

Well I thought it was allergies so I took a pill this morning and that made me feel better but now I feel worse than I did this morning, and to top things off this guy came in to pay rent for a performance he's having in our auditorium on saturday and after he hands me his check and I had him his reciept he tells me that today is the first day in 3 weeks he's been outta bed he's had the swine flu! So right now I'm not a happy camper!
