So, I think I may have found a potential career to go into...Baby Planner! :lookaroun (I'm kind of not joking...even though I don't have a kid, there's big business in Baby Planning! It's like Wedding Planning...I may look into it...)
I think that's a fantastic idea, Nibbs! DH suggested something similar for me to do. We are starting to baby proof and he said it'd be great to have someone you could just call to come & do everything. Couldn't make a business just doing that so we figured we'd have to do some pre-baby stuff for people too.

Doing alright. Have a little man who's teething, going through a growth spurt, & out of whack from traveling so I'm quite tired. But good :D
We had a WONDERFUL holiday w/ my family...once we got there. Got snowed in @ our hotel in Philly for 2 days. Then got to Nebraska, had 2 good days and then got stuck in a blizzard there.:hammer: THEN got home to our house a day late and after midnight...to no heat or hot water. It's comical now, but wasn't at the time that's for sure. And most likely how I got sick.
How was your holiday???

Hey Nibbs! How long are you at the World this time?

I know, I'm thinking of sleeping in there again tonight w/ it running...only putting the airbed up in there this time instead of sleeping on the floor
Um, I'll be there from Wed. until Sun. and then WHF and I are heading to Tampa (he's arriving on Sat. and we'll be moving me to the Hyatt on Sat.) to stay at the Hyatt until Tues. :) (We were supposed to go to a job fair in Tampa, but hubby's kinda dumb...job fair's on Thurs, not Tues...:brick: )

I am! I can't believe I leave in 42 hours!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sohappy:

Another thing that s u c k s? FedEx. They attempted to deliver a 23lb box (our wedding album/pictures) while we were away in Nebraska. Called when we got home but they wouldn't re-deliver it to us. We could either A) Have it sent back to the sender, or B) Have it sent to a different address. Now why they could send it to a different address and not just back to us is beyond me. Or I could pick it up in person @ the station. Which is over an hour from us. Was going to have it sent to my IL's but they were going to recharge the photog for delivery. Can't imagine a 23lb box is cheap so I said I'd pick it up. They said it needed to be by today or it would get sent back...and gave me the station hours. So Asher & I bundle up and drive allllll the way there today....THEY'RE CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!!! :brick::brick::brick: So they're not open but are going to send our album back if it's not picked up today. LUCKILY there was a driver pulling up and saw me looking through the door w/ Asher (in the freezing cold). Just so happens he lives right by us so knew how far it was for us to come. He thought there might be someone in there in the warehouse area and luckily there was and they dug it out for us. But had he not come by at that moment we would've been SOL. So frustrating.

That's rediculous! Thank goodness the driver was nice enough to get it for you guys. Girl I would call Fed Ex and complain- I know it won't do any good but it will make you feel better.

I had to do that one time with UPS. We needed materials for an event so I was tracking it like crazy. When it got here UPS had it at our local warehouse here in town but the system delayed it 2 days for delivery. I was FURIOUS! Especially since we had upgraded shipping and paid out the wazoo for it. I called an old friend from High School who works there 3rd shift at the warehouse and he helped me get to the right people so I could pick it up. They were confused why it was delayed too.

I know! I think it's a brilliant idea! I am seriously considering maybe looking more into it. Plus, since it's just starting, it's gonna be a growing field. And every new mom needs help, for sure with some aspect or another. It's just like weddings. A whole new world!

Hey, do you have any input on Swan or Dolphin? Have you stayed at either or heard any feedback through your show on anyone who has? We're starting to plan our trip (:sohappy:) and are going to use DH's Starwood points to stay at one of them

Yup, going to definately complain. Also got my MIL on it. Don't wanna mess w/ a Jewish MIL, she will be on it like crazy. When I was in the hospital on bedrest I was getting automated campaign calls to my hospital room. I just mentioned it to her in passing and the next day she told me she'd called around to the campaign offices and some state election office to complain
Sorry to post and run but it's time to head home!
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Night Samie! Good to have you back!

I read a story in the last month or so about a girl in Chicago who does this. Might have been on MSNBC.com you should Google it, it was very interesting

Um...I haven't stayed there, although WHF and I visted this past trip, but just the lobby.

It seems like a really nice hotel. And easy access onto the Boardwalk and to Epcot.

The one thing I didn't like though was how their bus service ran, at least to DTD. I didn't have any experience with any other place. You have to stop at ALL the Epcot area resorts (if you're starting at the Swan) and THEN they'll take you to DTD. Took FOREVER.

It was that way for the yacht club too, I wonder if that's just a late at night thing or what...

Interesting. Is the Dolphin the closer one to Epcot?

Yep. The Dolphin is very close to the Yacht Club. We haven't stayed there, either, but we walked around both hotels quite a bit during our recent trip. The Dolphin's lobby is huge, and the grotto pool is there. (Asher would love it!) One difference between the two is the Swan has queen beds and the Dolphin has double beds. Despite that, I think we'd choose the Dolphin if we were to stay there.

Hi everyone!

Oh, and Stephie, hope you feel better soon.
