Seriously, I get that he's sick, and I have cut him some slack, but REALLY?? I don't get an entire week off where I do nothing but play computer games, nap, and watch TV. I cannot tell you how many arguments we've gotten into this past week.. He's in a foul mood and is super touchy. Anything I say sends him off. Viva Monday!!

And if I try to point out that he's capable of watching her without sitting her in front of a TV, I'M the bad guy. :brick:
Is it that when he spends time with her he usually takes her somewhere and since he's sick all he could really was watch a movie with her?

The girl is perfectly capable of entertaining herself. Sometimes I just need him to watch her and make sure she's not destroying anything. And it's just easier to have her sit in one spot. I get it, but she only usually gets to watch a little TV, and usually only in the evenings when I'm completely exhausted. So when he watches it in the morning with her, that throws off my schedule, and it also makes me even more tired, because I don't want her watching MORE TV later on. So we skip the evening show, and I get to entertain her when I'm most in need of a break.

Sigh. We have a routine, and having him home just screws us all up! :dazzle:

There's a band of snow coming down from Lake Erie as I speak, and I have to leave in about 20 minutes to take my daughter to school. Which means, I'm sliding down my driveway but won't be able to get up it. :brick: I understand, first day back from break, can't cancel school and all that, but wouldn't a 2 hour delay have been prudent? Ugh....

I've taken Ab to school, gotten Joel's stuff together, and scraped and salted my driveway, all by 8:15 a.m. :brick:....Bun, you're leaving for WDW in a couple of weeks, right? Mind if I tag along?

zzzzzzzzz :snore:

Stinkin chest cold. Couldn't fall asleep til midnight. And guess who decided to be wide awake at 3 am for the 1st time in about 3 months? :hammer: Ended up being up w/ him for about an hour only to finally get him to fall asleep on a quilt on his floor. Sleeping on the floor not so good for the chest cold but at least I got about 4 more hours of sleep.

I am sooo glad that the holidays are over. I wish I could of enjoyed them more. They were good but very stressful for some reason this yr.
We gave my girls cameras for Christmas. My oldest lost hers last Thursday. We were leaving town and she said she had it on top of a pillow. Well somehow it got lost. We made several stops between home and my parents place. I worried about this thing all weekend (almost to the point of being sick) Got home Saturday night. Went to work, then I got everything from under the tree. Thinking it might have gotten put back under the tree. My youngest DD Just got up from the couch, went outside and came back with the camera. I asked her why she went outside. She said she forgot she wanted to looked for the camera in a spot by the driveway. She also said she didn't know why she wanted to look right there but she did. Weird.
All I can say it I believe God told her to look there. I thought maybe she put it there or her herself hid it but I don't think so this time. Normally she isn't that way. So I really believe it was God.

Well anyway I hope everyone has a very happy 2010.
