Joanna, you still on? I have a couple question for ya or anyone who may know really. Looks like our Disney trip w/ the fam is going fall over Asher's 1st Birthday in June. WOOTNESS!!! My questions are:
1) Chef Mickey's character breakfast - do you know if Mickey & Chip and Dale are all still in that one? Seems like I heard that my boys are no longer in it. If not do you know of a different breakfast that has the 3 of them? We're wanting to do his Bday party at one w/ everyone that AM.
And
2) Can you make dining ressies before booking your hotel or do you have to book that first?
Muchas gracias!!!

I can answer the Chef M one....when we were there the answer is NO. :( In fact the only place that may still have them is the Garden Grill @ Epcot for dinner. We didn't get to meet the 'munks at all, so next trip that's a must, even if we have to stand in line to do it.
I can't answer the other dining question tho.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Didn't make it to midnight....just 15 minutes shy of it. Was drifting off to sleep when my neighbors came out of their house yelling 'happy new year' to the neighborhood....I was so out of it I thought for a minute I had forgotten to turn the TV off :lol:

Mike's at work, Abby's in bed (she said she was up till 3 over at my niece's house), and Joel and I are just having a quiet day here...I've got laundry waiting on me to be folded. Such an exciting holiday. :animwink:

Hey Jenny!
We almost missed it too, woke up just at the last minute when ________ Clark started the countdown. Poor guy he messed up his numbers on it...so sad.
We were supposed to be staying in for a quiet day today but are now taking advantage of a break in the snow and going to Buy Buy Baby to get Asher's highchair & new carseat. You can use Bed Bath Beyond coupons there so its worth the drive and they are our Christmas presents to him. Can't believe how quick he outgrew his infant seat. It was fine before we left but now all of a sudden we have to fold his arms in 1/2 to get them through the straps. Lol So it's time

Well dirty doodle. Garden Grill won't work for us since we'll have a gigungo group (at least 15). I'll call Disney dining and see what's what

Man...and I keep forgetting to mail his onesie from Disney :brick:....I. am. a. total. AIRHEAD....by the time I remember he'll have completely outgrown it. I haven't mailed Mia's either...be prepared to be stunned when it finally shows up, and if it doesn't fit him, pass it on to someone who could use it.

From what I've heard, Garden Grill's food has really taken a nosedive too...it's a shame, our first character meal ever was there and it was really yummy. :( I hope you'll find something - last summer Chip and Dale were out in front of the train station at MK doing meet 'n greets.

I'm looking at Universal stuff at the moment....I think this next trip (whenever it happens) will be our first non-Disney centered trip. We may do a couple of days at MK and one at DHS, but it will primarily be Uni and Sea World for us. In fact we'll be staying onsite @ Universal. It's kind of weird to be planning for this, as the only thing we'll buy in advance for WDW will be our park tickets.

I used to work the character meals at Garden Grill alot and the food was fantastic then, but I have heard the same thing about it going downhill. Yeah I may be hoping for the impossible wanting to do his birthday breakfast w/ Mickey and my boys. Especially since it will need to be at a resort restaurant since my family will be hitting the road afterwards. We'll see I guess.
I would looove to do Sea World. Will be curious to hear how it goes for you staying on Universal property. Such a foreign concept. Lol
What about the Spring Hershey trip? Is that still happening?

The Hershey trip (we hope) will be in June....Mike will know for sure after Jan 8th which of his vacation days will be approved. We are all four of us going to go to Gettysburg and Hershey and will spend an entire week in that area. Would LOVE to set up a meet and greet with any Magic Friends over that way. :animwink: Although you'll probably be down in Florida by then.

blasphemy!!!!

:lol: If it weren't for their Harry Potter area being open next year, we'd probably not even consider it. It will be strange not staying on Disney property though.
Happy New Year, btw, Amy!

We'll be in Disney sometime between June 12-20. For sure coming home the 20th just not sure when we're heading down there.
I could really use someone to talk to... :(

I want to go get drunk tonight.
Oh Bun. :kiss: and {{hugs}}
