Yes, it is very fun with them this year. Although, they have a serious case of the "I wants" :dazzle: We're trying to teach them the true meaning of Christmas, and about how it is about us being together and enjoying the spirit of the season, but it is hard when they are bombarded by toy ads all day long. :rolleyes: Between our WDW trip and Christmas, they are both bouncing off the walls.

George is great!
We leave for WDW on the 19th...the first time we'll actually be there on Christmas Day. It's gonna be weird not having the girls there, but we had our Christmas yesterday. Earlier this year, I suggested to my girls, their guys, my sister and her guy that, instead of exchanging the same old gift cards like we do every year, how about we all go out to somewhere nice for dinner one night before we leave for our trip. Everyone thought that was a great idea. So last night was the night. We went to Maggiano's and had a nice looooong dinner, complete from appetizers to dessert. Lots of conversation and laughs. It was the BEST! Everyone agreed it was a wonderful idea and that it would be a new family tradition. It was just great to spend less money and have such a special time.

I'm sure you guys make sure their heads are screwed on straight the rest of the year. Christmas, they can go a little crazy!

Aw...that sounds like a simply WONDERFUL night. I'm sure a good time really was had by all and glad it can be the new Christmas tradition for you all, it sounds like. :)

It was wonderful.
Once grandkids come along, it will be all about them when it comes to gifts, but at least the grown-ups can have that dinner to look forward to.
