Jenny, hello, I hope your day goes well. I am very glad that Mike's dads a-fib will be treated with meds or a mechnical device. My mom had emergency heart bypass surgery tuesday..4 vessels..95% blockage on left main..so I am off on FLMA for a couple of weeks to help dad with her..and crazy little Sophia has gotten bronchitis so doing exta meds for her, I will take her in again this morning for her H1N1 shot, then to check on mom, hopefully she will be moved to a private room today. Take care and God Bless!

Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts, but I just have to say, Lance, that you couldn't have picked a more accurate avvy than the one you have right now. :animwink:
I leave in about 20 minutes to go get Joel - where has the day gone? Forget about that....where has 2009 gone?????

Thanks sweetie! :) I hope you're having a good day! I bought my cards and paper for writing our annual Christmas letter....now I have think of something brilliant and witty to say :lookaroun. And whatever killed Bun's old laptop must be contagious, because it looks like I'm going to have to replace mine too. :( I'm currently on the family desktop, so I'm grabbing it while I can. Once the kids are home.....I'll have to take a number.

I'm having a fine day.

Although it started out rocky.

This morning WHF and I woke up on the couch at 4 am and decided to go to bed. I was chilly, so I went to turn the thermostat up. I looked at it, and it was set on 70. I was like, hmmm...I shouldn't be cold at 70 degrees. So I turned on the light and it was 60 in the house. Crap...the furnace is broken AGAIN!!! 3rd time this year! This made me not so happy. I'd already had this company come fix it twice and they STILL hadn't fixed the problem.

So, WHF went downstairs and tried to see if he could fix the problem. Well, he knows nothing about furnaces...so I didn't think he'd be down there long. An hour or so later, he'd figured out how to get the pilot light lit. But it still wasn't working because the fan wasn't going. An hour after that (after looking it up online) he figured out how to reset the blower. It still wasn't working, so he put the cover on and was going to give up. 2 minutes later, the thing starts working again! So, WHF is my hero, he saved us BIG bucks today!!! I'm so proud of him!!!!

That and Lines, the new Touring Plans.com phone application came out for Blackberries today and I've been playing with it up a storm! :) Can't wait to use it Marathon weekend!

Sorry about your computer though. I know how much that stinks when they go down the toilet. :(

And sorry I missed you. Had a customer walk in.

I know what you mean. I got my list ready, but I haven't started actually getting down to the nitty gritty with them yet.

Men. I was the one who wrangled the girl into curlers, then into her dress, tights and shoes, I took the picture, I designed the cards, I sent away for them. I'll address them, stamp them, and write a little note on them.

ALL he has to do is sign his name. And he couldn't find time to do it yesterday, after he had the evening to himself while I was at a school function. :brick:

See, I don't even have WHF sign. I don't think he cares too much whether I send them out or not (and he'd probably not) so, I just don't bother.

it's the principle of the thing. I HAVE to send cards out (even to several of his relatives who we've NEVER gotten cards from) and he's sure as hell not going to do it. So he's got to at least do some of the work, even if it's in name only.
