I'd love to go back in Dec. It was such a GREAT time to visit. My mom keeps talking about how much she loved going then.

So, I have someone who's taking over the photo contests for me.

It feels so weird to know I'm handing them over to someone else. They've been such a part of me for 4 years...but I think this person's gonna do a great job and they're very excited about doing it! :) So that's good news.

Well, I'm glad to know you found someone. :) I feel the same way about turning over book fair. I've approached one of my best volunteers about taking my place, and she didn't outright reject the idea, so I'm hopeful we can talk about it again. She has the right attitude and enthusiasm with the kids.

That's so great for you! :) It's nice when you have someone who's got the enthusiasm...and I think this person, after talking to them briefly about it...has it. :)

Hey everyone. :)

Sorry I haven't been around much lately....things are very busy around here. Homework, play practice, Homecoming, etc., etc., etc.

If ya'll have some extra room on your prayers/good thoughts list...I'd appreciate some for my mom. She'll be having surgery tomorrow.

She's actually having her ovaries removed.
There's a strange little spot on one of them. They don't think it's anything too serious, but it's better to be cautious.
