I officially suck.
Um, me and Grant had sort of a talk...I say sort of in the sense that I talked and he yelled. Not his fault though, really.
The thing is, I think that his Mom? was stupid to trust the goodwill of a man that for 23 years ignored her children from a previous relationship. And I said as much tonight. All I want is for Grant to maybe get some of his mom's letter's...but I can't talk to FIL anymore, he makes me sick. And, I sort of blame MIL for picking him. And then I said:
"Why should he do the right thing when your mother didn't?"
Which is where the I suck part comes in.
But it's true.

Ugh. Just went on a major cleaning spree. Scrubbed bathrooms, dusted, vacuumed. Such fun. But with the kiddos and DH at MIL's, I had to take advantage of the empty house to get it clean. Ah, the joys of responsible adulthood!

Later on today, I'm having a bit of reunion with a bunch of the people I worked with last summer.
I think most, if not all of us, are coming back to work again this year, so it'll be nice to have a quick get together before the season starts!
