Did you report it to Guest Relations?
They could also bring back the Give a Day, Get a Day promotion. This time, however, our volunteer day would be spent fixing up WDWDisney's going to set up donation buckets at the ride exits. Guests drop their donations for future repairs into the containers instead of dropping their coins into the rides waterways. That way we can all be a part of improving the magic.
The ride doesn't make sense, the country is okay, just very meh.
and there is no reason whatsoever why there should be any wait for that ride, ever ever ever. when we walk by it and see a line, we laugh at all the people that are being suckered onto that ride expecting anything worth anything. and that conservation video, gah... lol.

LOL! That's awesome. I will bring my Swiffer, bucket, and sponges. and duct tape. lots of duct tapeO.K. I'll bring my paint brush, my tool box and work gloves. Just point me in the right direction and I'll get to work. In fact I'll Give a Few Days if it will help.
You are right. I wasn't really thinking I guess. The church alone will "Stave" off any retheming (pun intended)Except that the Stave church out front is staple of Norwegian architecture, and the Akershus castle is a Norwegian icon. The grass roofs are a feature of traditional Norwegian roof design. The truth is that retheming all of these large buildings would be far more expensive and effort intensive than keeping the ride well-maintained.

Bork Bork BorkI know! Let's change it into the Finland pavilion, then at least then we know it would get Finnished!
Holy crap you're right.Funny thing I just noticed while looking up Akershus Castle is if you look at it on Google Maps with a satellite view the Magic/Wonder is docked right beside it

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I would tend to agree. The ride is ridiculous and I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish. Norway is actually the only one of the countries that I don't spend much time in. We usually do Maelstrom, skip the video, blaze through the shop, and head to the next country. The whole time I'm there I feel like someone's going to try to force me into buying a vacation to Norway! I don't even feel like the store has anything extremely unique. It's just a bunch of high dollar ski coats.
At the end of the day, aren't all the countries trying to get you to buy a vacation to said country? I like World Showcase and it can be educative to a degree but I certainly don't hold any delusion that they aren't trying to sell me a product.
