Thanks for the clarification. Disney's official site does list it as The Spirit of Norway now, but the official press release when it opened referred to it as Norway-The Film. I've made that clarification as well.
As for the dialog, the audio is tough to make out but I had always known as what you said, "Norway's spirit has always been, will always be adventure." When you listen to it again it's very tough to discern what is actually said. I have yet to find a definitive answer one way or the other - if you have something to back this up, I will gladly adjust this as well.
Hey, done some research now and found some of the script from Maelstrom. Some articles from Norway did have the lines in them, and one of them say that it is "will always be adventure". Its hard to hear, but I feel like its right... (I do this ride atleast once a day if not more.)
As for the film its not mentioned by name anywhere in the papers Ive gone through, but one says that it follows the theme "spirit of Norway". Ill still call it the Spirit of Norway.
You are not the first to pass this way, nor shall you be the last. Those who seek the spirit of Norway face peril and adventure, but more often find beauty and charm.
We have always lived with the sea, so look first to the spirit of the seafearer.
Long ago, Norway was a land of vikings, that was the beginning of our love for the sea.
Viking woman: Er du viss på at Erik er voksen nok for denne ferden? (Are you sure Erik is ready for this voyage?)
Viking father: Ikke vær redd Frida, jeg skal ta meg av gutten. (Dont worry Frida, Ill take care of the boy.)
Viking boy: Far, er det sant at det finnes uhyrer i havet som kan sluke hele skip? (Father, is it true that there are monsters in the sea that can swallow whole ships?)
Viking father: Jeg har ikke sett noe slikt. (Ive never seen such a thing.)
Viking mother: Erik, husk på ryggsekken din. (Erik, dont forget your rucksack)
Viking workman in the boat: Frida, du maser så! (Frida, you fuss too much!)
- Theres also something about the first seatroll they see too, but my sources didnt provide all monologes.
