No matter what dance party they setup there, it must always include Flynn's arcade in the back. That should have been permanent thing.

I just assumed they got rid of the Snow Rancor because people (especially kids) would constantly hang on it and get reprimanded by the cast members. I bumped into it and the whole thing moved?

From today's Mice Chat update from Dusty Sage:

"The on again, off again, nightly dance party with the Alice and Wonderland theme is going away again on March 30th. It leaves just in time for Food and Wine Festival to kick off. But we don’t think it will be gone for long. Another nightly party (which has been a staple since the launch of World of Color) is very likely to be announced soon."

Wasn't Glowfest designed to be a holding area for people waiting to see next WOC show?

Yes, Glowfest was created as a "holding pen" for the throngs of people waiting for WOC. The demand for WOC has dampened significantly since then, but Mad T provides a draw on the opposite side of the park from WOC to create some balance.

I saw Dusty's remark about a replacement in the update today as Constance quoted above, but I haven't heard anything yet beyond a possible return of FTN to coincide with the Frozen Live opening, which I hope doesn't happen because FTN sucked.

I'd prefer nothing to any variation of their dance parties.

@GiveMeTheMusic, did you see the comment at the end of the update about an interactive game themed to the Haunted Mansion in the works? Have you heard anything about that? Is that what that big thing that was installed in Fowler's Harbor is for?

The only thing I know of is the expensive Ghost Radio subscription box that has already been released and sold out. An actual interactive game for HM would be cool though!

With budget cuts from the Shanghai debacle, I'd be surprised if there will be another nighttime dance party in the near future. Knowing Disney, they will probably leave all that stuff there to rot.
