My guess is that he would rise up and down on a platform like Eclipse over in Magic Kingdom - unless they just have a standard "pose" that he'll sit in untill he moves.

I think one of the assumptions (at least one that I was going off of) is that he'll pop (hop?) in and out of the black doors at the back of the platform he'll be on. (Or perhaps those doors are just for access)

That way they can bring him in out of the rain easily.

Hopefully. Although AAs are incredibly hard to make 100% waterproof, especially during torrential downpours like Central Florida had the past week.
