Will it be replaced by frozen lumberjacks...the quest to build oaken's new trading post?

perhaps...

Not really sad to see them go. I give credit for them trying something new and different but it wasn't ever going to work or be a good fit.

Is refreshing entertainment like this at Epcot going to be a yearly thing for a lot of these acts?

Do we think the Italian flag corps will soon follow? This is the 3rd of the 4 acts that was brought in last year around this time that is leaving/has left with only the flag corps still around. (Unless I missed their last show announcement) I've said this before, I don't mind yearly changes to entertainment, but stagger it a bit, don't have it all change at once.

I believe they come back as the holiday band with a different name.
Some same members, I believe, totally different, of course, holiday vibe. @wannabeBelle Marie knows all the specific details on who made up Off Kilter and who makes up the Canadian Voyagueeerrrss (I can never spell that somewhat French Canadian band name)

I was not a fan of this show nor did I ever see it. I saw videos of it and thought it was hokey anyways! I understand changing the entertainment, but IMO it never needed to be fixed because it wasn't broken. They say it was because of budget considerations...phooey!
If that's true, then maybe they should start cutting some of the pay increases of some of the management heads at the company level. They make too much money! For crying out loud, the CEO of DOLLAR TREE makes $17million a year! (and that's from a Dollar Store!) Maybe Disney should open a Disney Dollar Store!? (smart a** comment)

"It's the most wonderful time, of the year..."

Seriously. As much as I would have been thrilled with Off Kilter (Mulch, Sweat and Shears; World Showcase Players, etc.) forever, I do actually appreciate the idea of changing entertainment and attractions to keep things fresh. I applaud the desire to do that, but when it happens, there will be hits and misses. This was a miss. Time to ...let it go, let it go...

We can all leave our ear plugs at home. :)

No, I don't. There hasn't been the uproar and the "guest feedback" about the other acts that the lumberjacks caused. I wouldnt consider it a trend.

Actually this year is going to be an interesting blend of Off Kilter and Mulch Sweat & Shears. I know Billy Varnes, Jason Thomas and Mark McDowell of Off Kilter and Paul Smith, Matt Bloodwell and Landon Perkins from Mulch will be working with the Voyageurs. I have heard some rumors of others from both bands but cant confirm that as of yet. Marie

Except there was no uproar (that I'm aware of) about B'Net Al Houwariyate or the Paul McKenna Band who both also recently wrapped up their engagements. Which to me at least, indicates that most of these acts had 1 year contracts, and Epcot entertainment isn't renewing them.

I cannot speak to the B'Net group at all, but the Paul McKenna group did leave of their own accord from what I was told. I was sad to see them go, as they were good musically, but they didn't engage me the way Off Kilter or Mulch did or British Revolution does. Marie
