So this all begs the question, why did they create Lucky in the first place? He seems to have been used in public only briefly. Did they create Lucky just to see if they could do it? I would think that bringing him to ANY park would be welcome, if only as a limited diversion, say once or twice a day for 20 min or so. Why not continue to show off the newest in free-roaming animatronics?!?! (this also goes for Dr. Bunso Honeydew and Beaker) Unless it is very expensive to replace worn pieces and/or if they are prone to breakdown. I would love to see either of these roaming entainment pieces at the parks, unfortunately, it looks as though their time has quickly come and gone. :(

Lucky was for R&D purposes. He provided some entertainment in the process but (s)he was mainly for R&D. :)

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.

Still... why let it rot in WDI storage... when it can be shown, and where guests can enjoy it?!

Bah... the million dollar question with a lot of things Disney does (or doesnt do).

It comes down to the same thing everytime..............

MONEY!!

That would mean AK would have to pay for Lucky and all the maintenance and spare parts for him. Then pay extra operators and trainers and other show people. Then they would need a storage and maintenance facility for him.

I agree Lucky would be a perfect fit for Dinoland. But the current AK management would rather spend their budget on live animals and not extinct ones.
