exactly... i had the same thought... but...

all we know is that locke "blew up" the sub after michael left... and after michael left Tom came to visit him...

so... Tom could have definitely visited him first...
Don't forget that time travel will becoming a much bigger thing in the future -- so Tom may have traveled with a time shift.

Anything going on with octagon global recruiting yet?

I signed up after the finale and haven't received anything. I went back to check it out after reading your post, and noticed this:

Our national recruitment drive will commence in San Diego, California July 24 - 27, 2008

Those are the dates and location for Comic-Con, so I guess whatever's coming will be teased and/or begun then.

It was noted earlier this week that when the island moved....

SPOILER........................

It didn't just change locations, but TRAVELED IN TIME as well. The return to the island may very well take place very quickly after they left from the island's perspective.

WOW....that is awesome and would make total sense! Where did you find this tidbit of information if you don't mind me asking? Sadly, we have to wait another 7-8 months to find out for sure on the show.

It's funny, because I turned to my sister during the finale and said, "They just keep saying they will "move" the island...they're not saying somewhere else. Maybe they're moving it to a different time?!?"

Perhaps that has something to do with the whispers we've heard since season 1. Most or all of them have been transcribed and they almost always sound like commentary about what's going on with the Losties on the island, as if someone is watching.

Kristin from E! reported it last week. Spoilers seem to be VERY slim, at least until late fall when they start shooting again. Although, they may plan to have the whole season shot by X-mas. So back that up the 16 weeks or so and shooting may start in August or September.

Just some gossip...

"Kate" said yes to "Charlie"'s proposal. I know they've been dating for quite some time now, but I still can't get over what an odd pair they are--looks-wise. Either way, congrats to Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan on their upcoming nuptials.:)

I registered and took the first tests (they were very quick). An interesting diversion since we have to wait until January for new epdisodes.

Same here. I haven't been around much--I've had some major internet connection issues lately--but I've managed to become an official "recruit" of the DHARMA Initiative.

Namaste!

I didn't want to start a whole new thread... Thought the JJ Abrams-association made it appropriate here...

Did anyone catch "The Fringe" last night? We missed it but have it DVR-ed. Wonder if it's worth watching...?

I watched the first half hour. Noble really creeped me out in LOTR. That scene with Pippin singing was one of the sickest things I've ever seen. I didn't know what to expect from "Fringe" though. I was plesantly surprised. The "airplane problems" was a kinda lame way to start following LOST, but the show was pretty fun. I hate the male agent though. Josh Jackson was trying a bit too hard. You could tell he faded in and out of his "adult voice" throughout the beginning. I'll catch the rest tonight.
