Great show tonight? Do you guys think Sun is pregnant by her friend she was learning english from? I know it seems like they have been on the island a long time, but I know they haven't. Or do you think it's Jin's?

Well they've been on for at least 48 days so who know's who the father is.
Also Henry is good. You don't know what to think of him. Is he or isn't he an other. That conversation he had with Jack and Locke at the end was great.

edited: can't spell the word at or least

Anyone got the name of the book Sawyer was reading when Sun came asking for the test kit?

I thought it was interesting that they focused on the name of the book for quite a bit....

couple of things real quick..im on my tour bus so my power is limited..

The book sawyer was reading is about a girl losing her virginity..which made the comment he made HILLARIOUS..

Henry may not be an other..i think he's just getting overly bitter towards the way he's being treated..

I also see ana-lucia getting killed soon.

YOU GUYS ROCK!

I love reading all your theories! I am a huge fan of this show, and there are so many things to watch for each episode!

I'm interested in hearing everyone's theory on Sun's pregnancy. That was a great episode last night and was totally left open to assuming just about anything!

ALSO: Just a fun aside....I was watching an old episode of MAD TV that TiVO recorded for me and they were doing a spoof of "Party of Five." Lo and behold, there is JACK - from LOST - much younger with long hair - in the clip! We all freaked out that Mathew Fox was in that show I had never seen before. OK....so I'm the only one in the world who didn't know that! Now we all do!

Ive been wondering where the LOST thread was for a while now. Go figure, it is in the TV section. :hammer:

Anyway, I think this is a great show, and I also believe that Jin is the father of this baby. Weirder things have happend on the island (like Locke being able to walk). I have no idea about Henry, at first I was sure he was an other, but now I am not so sure. The next few episodes should be excellent considering what may happen, and who the flashbacks will be focused on.

Rcoaster809, I did think about that, the weird things happening on the island.

Brer Stitch, I used to watch Party of 5, one of my favorite shows of all time. :D

I read this book as a teen and then recently with my teenaged daughter. It's about a girl waiting to get her period for the first time, NOT losing her virginity. BUT there is a lot of mention of hormonal male & female teens - so you're not too far off.

GReat episode tonight

The map.....how was it drawn (the door would have had to be down.....)

"Henry Gale".....the guy is now definately an Other

The food shipment....so the island is still being supplied....will their be a consequence for taking the food? Is it possible the doors came down so the food could be dropped?

The real Henry Gale....did he die, or was he killed, and who was he?

Speck76,

Cool pic of the map! I didn't realize there was all the writing too. I can only make out a few things like "I am here" and something about an accident.

I think I just get more and more confused every week. And where's Walt? By the time that boy comes back on the show, he's going to be a grown man! :)

Ok, the picture floating around that has enhanced the image on the wall (found here:http://www.thetailsection.com/uploaded_images/sm8378-797282.jpg) mentions "cerberus" several times.

It seems to be a system of some sort. In Greek mythology, Cerberus guarded the gate to the underworld and made sure no living could get in and no dead could get out.

I'm thinking Cerberus is the black smoke.

Also, this confirms what I was thinking that the lockdown has to do with resupplying.

So, according to the enhanced images linked above, the map on the hatch door included a bunch of common Latin phrases. If the enhancements are accurate, they translate this way:

"Malum consilium quod mutari non potest"
It is a bad plan that cannot be changed. (Publilius Syrus)

"Credo nos in fluctu eodem esse"
I think we are on the same wavelength.

"Sursum corda" (repeated three times)
Lift up your hearts. (Catholic liturgy)

"Cogito ergo doleo"
I think, therefore I am depressed.

"Hic sunt dracones"
Here be dragons. -- (Supposedly a map notation used in the Middle Ages, but used today with irony to warn against tampering, as with complex computer code)

"Ut sit magna, tamen certe lenta ira deorum est"
The wrath of the gods may be great, but it certainly is slow.

"Liberte te ex inferis"
Save yourself from hell.

"Nil actum reputa si quid superest agendum"
Don't consider anything that has been done if anything is left to be done. (Lucan)

Thanks for posting the schedule.

I hate when they put a break in the middle of season, BUT at least it's only one episode this time.
