So maybe what we're seeing is that each month, we'll get a week of nothing, a week of something that's already a fixture, a week of something new but underwhelming, and a reasonably good week.

Also, there are so many "long lost friends" people would like to see, this could easily be repeated throughout the year.

Why more? We should be happy that WDW is doing something like this and to be honest the line-up sounds really good. Remember this is just an extra.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I had a blast with Bling in the New Year. I didn't even notice the name, which whatever it's cheesy but so was the name "Holly Wood" for a guy. But getting to dance in front of the castle was lots of fun and getting to hear the music throughout the park was a treat because it really helped set the mood (we were there the 30th, not NYE). My favorite was watching people confused when they played the song "Danza Kuduro," a very popular dance song down here in Miami. When my sister and I did the moves, everyone looked confused but the people who knew Spanish knew exactly what to do

So yeah anyway, while everyone is whining and complaining about everything, I'll be at WDW again this coming weekend (5th time since 11/5) and I'll be enjoying the sights, the attractions, and especially the food

I'm still hoping we have a few other ones. I'll be there for this week, along with my wife and roommates. but still hope for other characters. Since a few of my friends shot some of these guys for the marathon.

I also would not get your hopes up for Valentines Day.

Wasn't 100% sure. Like I said that was a long day. and I'm not getting them up too much for Valentines week. from what I've heard for Valentines its just the MNSSHP princes and princesses.

I just find it funny that Scrooge then had a "Facelift" and Changed to Ludwig...

I think he's referring to the one on the left. In this picture he is Scrooge. It's the same head used for Ludwig in the marathon pics with a slight redesign. By the way the above pic with Gyro looks like a Disney on parade or disney on ice pic.

All this talk of clarabelle and Horace, i quite often see them on afternoons in Frontierland at that character dance thing along with beer rabbit, beer fox and I think one of the country bears - don't know if its just on busy days?!?! It's never in the guide map though so guessing ts used as a crowd draw - anyone else know?

The Hoedown is performed year-round, but not every day (just certain days of the week)

Man I was a little upset that I was going to drive to Pensacola from Houston just to get a marriage license that week, but since i am half way there, you bet i booked a three day stay just to get some random characters! Whats another 6 hours!

I guess unless they have a "Long Lost Totally Forgotten and Are You Out of Your Frickin Mind Friends" Week, I will never see any character in my avatar. Did see Kermit and Miss Piggy in the early 2000s at MGM and of course Sweetums.

EDIT: Oh and the Dr. Honeydew and Beaker in the roving Muppet Mobile Labs...but thats not really characters.
